Good for the job. No funss!
I ordered for making jam and using preused glass jars (way to go!). These lids are sturdy and after it's use appear in good condition still. Some lids can flake on the inside, but these appear to be holding up nicely. A good safe buy.

These do the job
These are very good and attach to jars well and tight. They are a good quality and for the price you get at around 38p each which is great. The aspect is nice and elegant.

Excellent jam jar lids
These red and white jam jar lids are excellent quality and screw onto jars smoothly. The red and white gingham design is very traditional and quaint. For homemade makers of jam and other preserves, the lids are absolutely ideal for making your jars stand out. You can replace the plain old lids of standard jars with these ones and immediately, they then take on a vintage and classy appearance. Very highly recommended.

I want to love these lids but... design are great ...they are beautiful.. but don't fit my mason jars.. i put my jars WITH THESE LIDS in the water canner and most of them slip off and ruined my perfect Christmas jam..!! Very disappointed!! Have to send them back....So thankful for AMAZON TO TAKE THEM BACK AND ALL THE STUFF THAT DON'T WORK OUT ..

Perfect fit for classico jars! But not for pressure canning
I love these! All of my jars water bath sealed. I did water and pear jam in them.Update** I went ahead and tried pressure canning and water bath canning jams and chicken. All of the pressure can seals failed after only 2 months on my shelves. The water-bath ones seen to be ok so far but do not use these for pressure canning unless you want to waste food!
