Big Poppa is the best gel I've ever came across that really keeps mr hair soft and curls popping. It's smells so good, keeps my hair shiny and moist not fizzy at all and the effectiveness is 100%. Big Poppa does all that no other gel I've used before the others gives the curls but nothing else. I use the Big Poppa along with 808 Base Gel

The quality is excellent when you use it properly. The curls are popping on my daughter's hair and we love the product. It does dry out-she uses it over night and the curls usually pop out in the morning, but we love it. It's not a very heavy product. Lots of product for the money.

Nice product, non sticky, nice defined curls.

Not as good as advertised. I can see it being good conditioning curl amplifier, not so much for me I prefer ECO In fact, I had to use ECO on top of this for a more defined and lasting hold. Also, if you have a citrus allergy, DO NOT PURCHASE. I started itching, but I was running late, no time to wash it out and start over with just ECO. I'm back to edit my review. I initially gave this 3 star, but I had to give an additional star. I washed this product out earlier, as my allergic reaction worsen, and my breathing was labored. I noticed that my hair looked and felt healthier as within 1 day and a half of having it in. I washed the product out, and the curls held up. I figured surely it would be a mess after air drying. No, soft and somes curls after taken a ( without any head wrapping ), and my hair dried. I also not there fewer breakage. I usually go through my hair afterwards and there are little ends that I need to pick out. Perhaps, upon application I didn't have all of the tangling that I normally have to deal with when using ECO. *** I MOST NOTE *** My previous review stands, as I had to use a small layer of ECO on top to mask the citrusy smell and to get stronger, defined look. Even combined, my hair was soft and healthy looking until I washed it out. I could just manipulated with my hands come up without adding any additional water or gel to it. With ECO, it's usually dry the falling day and crushed. I would have to hydrate the curls for them to plump. One final con.. the Big Poppa, is a bit sticky. I'm not used to my ears, neck and forehead being sticky from products. Yes, it was sticky prior to adding the ECO layer. ECO is normally dry the within an hour. Good luck readers!!

Good hold without it being crunchy and stiff. Good for frizzy and hair. The smell is good. It could go with a man or woman's smell and I doesn't last all day. The smell that is. Good price. On time. Thanks.

This is, without a doubt, my absolute favorite curl-defining gel. I've tried so many products over the years, and this is the only one that consistently gives me amazing, long-lasting curl definition without being crunchy or flaky. It's a great purchase, especially since it's almost always five dollars less on Amazon than when I buy it in the store. Anytime I see it's available, I try to grab one right away! I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a product that truly defines and holds their curls. The results are seriously impressive.

I love it. My favorite gel so far. In the past I used 2 feels to get the same effect. It has good hold without being stiff and there's no flaking. My curls last about 2 weeks with touch ups on the areas that I sleep on. I highly recommend.

The container's lid was completely broken. When I opened the package, it was completely wet as if there was leakage. I didn't think much of it until I attempted to take the lid off; it just came off instead of unscrewing. The return shipping options were not applicable. I had to choose between the box and the package destroyed, and I'm unable to ship because the box will be a total disaster. - Outside of that, the product smells good. Haven't used.
