The media could not be loaded. My stereo started harking making cackling sounds went to an auto electrician and turns out its the double din original ford stereo.They gave me a quote for basic new stereo harness etc including fitting 780 give or take. So I then got a quote from fords .. for original stereo 648 not including coding or fitting.Saw this stereo for £119.95 decided why not. So it came next day quite late so fitted next morning took about 40mins and it works.The only downside is I can't figure out how to get steering wheel controls to work. There is an option to program but it fail.However this aside the sound is way better than original looks better and more importantly I am happy.I had the seller email instructions but they are the same as you get in booklet which are not great you kinda guess where they need to go and tbf there is only one place. Ive not wired the camera yet but if i do i will update.Overall worth the money 🤑I finally got around to fitting the camera. The wire is long enough to go from rear round. Underneath the seats up into the boot I placed mine on the bumper. Don't forget to seal it with a clear lacquer around the joints. As they do Rust, if you're using it on the outside of the vehicle, obviously So for the camera itself, it takes a few seconds kick in, but the quality is a crystal clear image unless you're in the minus degrees like we are now then it will look more foggy and less visible.Don't forget to do regular updates as it's just like a mobile phone and requires these to functionIt's better if you park on your drive or close to your home Wi-Fi, as it will update faster. You can connect your hotspot and do it whilst driving it just takes longer.So an update on the seller, if you specify what you need, they do send you video showing you step-by-step how to set it up, do the Split screen so you can use 2 apps at once and how to set up the key functionability from steering wheel. However After following the instructions and the video I still couldn't get mine on my forward to work. But as I've stated before, this is no big issue for me, because I don't mess around when I'm driving, I set it up and I go sometimes I will use the screen and sometimes I will use my phone. If I want to play music and use the GPS, it's just faster. I think it's like a five g signal issue or something with my provider, so not everybody may experience.This issueTo sum this up if you are looking forAn upgrade and don't want to pay an audio electrician or your vehicle manufacturer, because these are way more pricey. Then this is a good upgrade. If you don't mind losing a feature, if you cannot get the key functionability to work, it may be that I need to require a new harness. But that's not something I'm going to do overall. I'm still happy with it. And it's still going strong.

I bought this product yesterday 27 September 2024. Product arrived today 28th September, as at first it looked really nice. We hooked up all the cables ( except the hazard cable ). The surround sound , touch screen , car play all worked really well.We went to install the hazard and lock cable into the tablets button control and it’s broke!.The housing and pins which the hazard/lock cable goes all fell out and made the whole unit useless!!!. As I’ve seen on a few other listings for this exact product , it seems this is a common fault!. Amazon should not be allowing this product on sale!The seller needs to take this product back to the drawing board and sort this issue out!

We have a different brand aftermarket unit in my husbands 13 plate focus, we know that works fine with the sub woofer and amp he has but he wanted to upgrade to a system with android/apple car play, spotted this on TikTok and thought we will see how it goes for the price we couldn’t say no.We come to install it when it arrives, we opened the box to find that the mic was missing and the hazard switch was broken but we powered through as that things we are live without/fix ourselves however, this unit has blown 5 fuses on install and the amp wire to connect a amp and sub woofer doesn’t work!If we hadn’t had the previous unit it before installing this one we would of boiled it down to the amp not working but my husband is a master tech in the motortrade so he check the power to the amp wire in this unit and the old one and this held no power what so ever!Also can’t use steering wheel controls when it isn’t blown a fuse and no skip, forward, answer or decline buttons in the middle or a power button,it is all on the side, abit unsafe for driving on your own.Overall, not happy with this product and really wouldnt recommend.*UPDATED* - the seller responded to our review and they were very understanding and supportive in trying to help however at this time we still couldn’t get our product working. They have issued a refund and have handled our complaint great.

Now I’m quite competent when it comes to installing stereos but this does look challenging so will update the review once it’s working!As for the item, it looks very sleek and will blend seamlessly with the original dash to leave an updated OEM look.Following an initial problem the seller reached out to me and offered an exemplary resolution so it’s a big 5 stars for their customer service alone.

Instructions are not clear and missing wires !!! Can’t get unit to work ,

Good product for the money. Great for apple carplay but youtube slow due to the 2g conection.
