good price, easy install
I bought one for my car, and after seeing how well it worked, I installed another in my daughter's car. It came in handy, as she's a new driver and had an accident - we could see exactly what happened. The install is fairly straightforward, and there is a handy trim tool to use to tuck the wires away from sight. The first install took me 30 minutes, but the second install was only 15 minutes - easy peasy. The camera quality is also quite good. The app is a little weird at first, but once you use it a few times, it works well enough. It uses a weak quasi wifi signal for when you want to download videos, which can take awhile. This is totally worth the purchase and can give good peace of mind in the event an accident occurs, especially if it's not your fault.

Two Years, still going strong! Great dashcam.
I’ve had this dashcam for about 2 years. It was a little complicated setting it up at first and this was due to the wiring. I didn’t want it to be too crazy in my car so it took awhile. I also ordered extra clips to stick the wires to my car for neatness. The video quality is very good, I love that it has a front and back camera, I love that when you go over a bump (or anything that shakes the car) it automatically locks the video and saves those to a different file. The download speed can take about up to a minute, and you can’t be connected to CarPlay while connected to the camera, but that is easy to do. The camera also does really good at night. It’s been two years and the dashcam is still holding strong, it is very durable. It’s gone on roadtrips with me across the country and has not failed me yet. I have included a video montage of some moments I’ve captured on video with this dashcam. The negative reviews seem to stem from people not understanding how to use the dashcam. Make sure you throughly read the instruction manual in order to use the camera correctly with no problems. Also, the app itself is good. I enjoy being able to go into the cameras settings via the app to turn on or turn off any features I want/don’t want. You can also adjust the audio sound (it’ll say video locked), along with the sensitivity of it reading as an accident (which I have my sensitivity pretty high so it captures bumps a lot but I am fine with that because when I beep it will also lock the video and save it to emergency files). It also withstands the Midwest weather conditions (hot sunny summers, freezing cold winters). The price on this dual dashcam was also a great selling point for me as well. I also like that it saves all the files I download to my phone to a seperate album called JarvisCam (dashcam app name) so I can easily access my downloaded files. I feel safe having this because I know I’m an efficient driver, and if someone else does something I am able to prove it. Or even me. I highly recommend everyone purchases a dashcam, and this dual dashcam works amazing. You definitely cannot beat the price for the features it offers, along with the fact it captures back video too!

Love it!
I am rating this like this for a few reasons: 1) I wish the app had a bit more settings for the camera, 2) the quality of the camera itself is really good. I don’t have any major issues with it that would make me upset or leaving me feeling any other way. I do love that the night vision on this cam is really good for the price that it is at. It is really easy to install and I love that I do however did find it easier to have another person help with setting up the rear cam for placement, tucking the cord out of sight and other small things, I do also love that this is a wide angle the downside of it is that it doesn’t read plates clearly while driving or while parked.

Good product, but even better customer support.
If you don't need a cabin recording and don't need to see what is actually being recorded, these are great dash cams. I bought five of them. They are not difficult to install and they work. The picture is good. One of the cams started giving me an error message a few months after I bought it, and I reached out to their customer support on WhatsApp and they responded and after a few days of trouble-shooting, they concluded that the camera was bad and so they sent me a new camera. This is despite the camera being outside of the return window here on amazon. Not only is this a decent little camera for the price, but the support is superb. Thanks to Emma in customer support for her dedication to solving this issue, and ultimately sending me a new device. Would absolutely buy another one of these.

Bought two of these, one for each car. We have a Nissan Qashai and a Toyota Yaris Cross. It was super easy to install in both cars. I like the electrostatic film, which stops the adhesive leaving marks on your screens if you ever need to move/remove the dash cams. The clips are handy but I didnt need them in the end as I was able to tuck all the wires behind the panels in the car. The little tool which is supplied is a massive help with this. The app seems decent. You just download, connect to the dash cam WiFi and you are good to go. I plan to check the SD card (which was helpfully supplied) after our first journey in each car to make sure it is working as expected and will update my review if there are any issues. The video is good quality and should record 4-6 hours before overwriting older footage. It also has crash detection where it will lock a video and save it indefinitely (protected from overwriting) when the dash cam thinks there may have been an incident/impact. I can't fault them: everything you need, easy to install both physically and on the app, good quality. Thank you!

Installation was very easy, even for someone with little technical knowledge. I followed a few YouTube videos from other users and had it set up quickly. The dashcam is compact and doesn’t block my view, but the video quality is very clear for both day and night driving. Connecting to the app and downloading videos to my phone was simple, and I was able to save clips easily. Overall, this dashcam works well and offers great value for money. Highly recommended.

I've looked at lots of different dashcams, many big names have variable reviews. The GKU units seem to have good feedback so I gave it a go. Initial impressions - really good. Very nicely packaged, good instructions and thoughtful inclusions (trim tool). Very easy to setup and it just works. I haven't had to use it but there appears to be lots of UK support and almost a bit of a GKU community to call upon. I didn't want an in car screen so went for this base unit. It came with a rear camera which I wasn't going to use but I have and it's very discreet and easy to install. I also bought the hardwire kit for parking mode capability. I did need to trim the plastic fuse holder slightly to fit in the sunken fuse holders in my car. Once done, works a treat. The APP is easy to use, connects up to the unit easily and allows control over all the functions. Importantly, picture quality is very good and the quick function button to save recordings is simple to use so should I need to call upon the camera for its intended purpose it should be fine. Overall, highly recommended and does everything I would want of a dashcam whilst being easy to install, use and discreet.

Bought the D600 as an inexpensive dashcam. Got a good price (Black Friday) and I'm quite happy with it. Front cam has no screen. which I like as it hides nicely behind my read-view mirror without obstructing any of my front window. Displays to my cell phone if I want it to. It says it turns off when the ignition turns off... I put it in a Mazda CX-30 which keeps the cigarette lighter port powered on all the time, so that doesn't work. However, the Mazda does turn off the USB sockets in the console about 2-3 minutes after the ignition goes off. I emailed support and Judy provided me with an alternative cable (USB C to USB A) to replace the original cigarette lighter cable and that solved the problem. Judy's attention to the issue was prompt and the replacement cable arrived within a day - shipped direct from Amazon. Excellent service. Installation was fairly easy. The supplied tool works well for slipping the cable into the cracks without having to remove any panels. Viewing license plates requires it to be directly in front of the car. Plates off to either side are blurred. However, I wasn't prepared to pay 200-300 for a higher quality camera, so don't expect top-of-the-line imaging. Having said that, the video quality overall is good - probably as good as my phone camera. Overall I'm quite pleased with the unit.

Durability and Reliability: 5/5 The GKU 4K Dash Cam has been a reliable companion over time. Both the front and rear cameras maintain excellent performance, and the build quality is impressive. Setup and Installation: 4/5 While the setup process through the app was smooth and intuitive, there was an issue with the sticky clips provided for mounting. They lost their adhesiveness when I needed to attach the camera, which required me to purchase replacements. This was an inconvenience but didn’t detract too much from the overall experience. Performance: 4.5/5 The 4K video quality is outstanding, with clear and detailed recordings from both cameras. The included 64GB SD card offers ample storage. The app works well overall, but viewing videos can sometimes lag or take a bit longer to load, which could be improved. Cost: 5/5 The dashcam was a fantastic value, especially when bought on sale. Even at its regular price, the combination of features and performance makes it a worthwhile investment. Overall Rating: 4.5/5 The GKU 4K Dash Cam is a great choice for reliable front and rear coverage with excellent video quality. However, the sticky hooks losing their adhesiveness and the occasional app lag when viewing videos are small drawbacks. Despite these minor issues, it’s a high-quality product that delivers great peace of mind on the road.
