Generally not much to say about cables other than: they work. We are talking the annoying tangle of black and white wires you take on a holiday or hide under your desk.Arguably the standard Apple cable is all the cord an Apple owner is likely to need. Except this white cable has the bad habit of splitting at the plug after multiple bends and twists which, in the lifetime of an iOS device, is inevitable. And two of mine succumbed recently which was very unfortunate because I was on holiday abroad and my phone dying, looking for an Apple shop rather than the local scenery or buying some dodgy cable was the last thing I wanted for my beloved iPhone.And while this aftermarket cable might be overkill and / or rather expensive for some, it solves at least the two problems above: it's easier to keep organised thanks to the neat leather strap - easy to pack, store, hide away - and also the kevlar braiding should (and I am sure it does) significantly increase its life, reducing the risk of damage - splitting, kinking, stripping etc.And did I mention how stylish it looks? This is one cable you will not be embarrassed to keep in sight. If there is such a thing as a stylish, fashionable cable, this is it.I quite like it!

There is nothing more annoying than the cable for your device giving up the ghost way too early.Well there are plenty of options out there on the market and some a little bit more reasonable on the price.How ever Native Union, do great cables, especially if you want it to stay compact for travelling. This is the second one I’ve bought and seem to last a lot longer my last cable lasted just over four years before it broke.So if your looking for something that will last if your travelling a lot or just want something that is going to last longer than the cable you get in the box then this is worth the investment.On a side note their 2metre version is worth the purchase especially if your in a hotel where the sockets are on the other side of the room.

A very high quality lighting cable that is approved by Apple. The Apple genius explained to me how these cables send the correct signal on two of the pins while others might not. The cable itself feels very high quality and comes with a convenient leather 'belt' to wrap it up neatly. It worked wonderfully well when two other cables failed on me. Highly recommended.EDIT AFTER 1 YEAR OF DAILY USE:The cable as you can see in the new photo is still as good as new after a year of daily use! I cannot believe how sturdy this cable is. I came back to amazon to buy another one to keep ready in another room.

Does the job it’s meant to do. When not in use stores away neatly in a drawer or in my pocket. Recommended.

I have had a few problems with Native Union cables and this was a bought as replacement for a different model for which Amazon kindly supplied a refund.If you can say this about a cable, it is very beautiful. Goes very well with the designer handbag/backpack and it a restrained and attractive taupe colour. The real leather band sets it off really well. And it seems that NU are using a new material to shield the cables so I have high hopes for its longevity.

This is a really handsome bit of rugged kit. It’s shame it’s so relatively expensive in the UK. Buy before the trade wars start and the exchange rate gets worse.Gerald Turner London

A quality robust cable which will last. I consider Native Union to be a very good brand known for quality and innovative solutions (e.g. Their Universal cable - Lightning, micro USB and USB C as 1 cable).I have a number of Native Union cables and none have let me down, despite daily use over 1 1/2 years - unlike some other cables (including Apple after a year or so).There are cheaper cables admittedly but I have found they fail quickly with the +5V supply contact on the Lightning connector burning out due to inrush current and poor contact plating.

LOVE this sturdy reinforced lightening to USB cable connector. Strong - this is my second (the last I have had for three years, no problems) but also flexible.Great to have the leather strap to keep it together in my bag - actually more than great, very convenient as well.And FANTASTIC colour - blends with wooden furniture and leather chairs ... I don't like being able to see white/black wires and this colour blends perfectly.PLEASE would you do a 2 meter cable like this, IN THIS COLOUR, as well? They used to be available from Apple, but no more (only white, grey or black). I know I'm not the only person looking ... hoping ....Great product

Cable premium. Lo recomiendo. Lo traigo de arriba abajo, en la mochila y no le pasa nada. Es el segundo que tengo porque perdí el anterior, pero fácil llevaba como 3 años y funcionaba perfecto, este igual. Son caros, pero en mi opinión, vale la pena pues su estética, materiales justifican el valor y te quitan la molestia de cuidar en exceso uno marca Apple o andar comprando un cable a cada rato.

First the look is great! It seem very well built and should last! Very please with the product and would buy again. I even had the feeling the music quality was better with that cable connected in my car… might just me 😀. Very nice company and the packaging was nice too!
