Good Product for Honey Production
The packages arrived undamaged. During assembly, you must sand all of the dovetails or it is likely to split somewhere. I sanded everything and didn’t have any cracks or breaks in the wood work. Some of the wood was slightly bowed but I was still able to assemble it. I used only wood glue as the securing mechanism for the brood box and top honey flow box. I will likely go back and drill holes in the dovetails for some screws now that it is assembled. Definitely drill all holes before screwing together. If you don’t, the wood is likely to split. I did personally enjoy the process of doing this sanding and drilling. The mini auto flow frames are ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. It is the ideal recipe for quick honey harvesting. The mini size of the flow frames makes it easy for the bees to fill up and cap compared to the full sized “deep” auto flow frames. It’s hard for bees to cap a whole deep frame of honey. That’s why the standard is to use “shallow” honey supers (also because they weigh less so carrying is easier). These mini flow frames are equivalent to a “shallow” supers. If you have enough bees the hive will be excellent for honey production. The one thing that could improve it more would be if the hive had an additional brood box with frames for purchase to build the colony strength. Hopefully that comes soon.Customer service was able to resolve any additional questions that I had with the product.

Poor construction
The pieces were poorly cut and did not fit together. I'm a bit skilled with woodworking and I could not make the pieces fit together nicely. I returned it,

Perfect fit for a Trailer Park
I live in a trailer park and this is perfect for the little side yard I have. I will be joining the local Beekeepers Association in January 2025. I will have all the resources for getting this mini flow hive up and running and should have honey coming out of it sometime in the summer of 2026. It should be noted that this is a custom size brood box and I will need to take special care in getting it set up properly. If this was a regular size brood box, I’d have no problem getting this up and running in a few days. It’s only gonna take a week or so to get everything in place and ready to go. Joining a beekeepers association will definitely be a big help with this venture.

Best customer service on Amazon!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I recently had the pleasure of trying out these beehives and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed! From the moment I received my package, I could tell that this company truly cares about their customers and the bees they build homes for.First and foremost, the quality of the beehives is exceptional. The craftsmanship is top-notch, with every detail carefully thought out. The hives are sturdy and well-built, ensuring the safety and comfort of the bees.Setting up the beehives was a breeze, I am confident even a new beekeeper will have the ability to properly assemble and maintain the hives (do watch the video in the posting, it helps). The design is user-friendly, making it easy to access the honeycombs and perform routine inspections. What sets this seller apart from other sellers on Amazon is their commitment to support. They provide a wealth of guidance to help beekeepers succeed in their endeavors. Whether it's through instructional videos, or a responsive customer service team, this seller ensures that their customers have all the tools they need to thrive in beekeeping.I am not new to beekeeping so please take my advice as someone who is experienced and very knowledgeable in the art of bees, my ONLY critique is that they should offer parts, ie. Frames and brood boxes. If you live anywhere except Texas, Florida or Southern California they may not survive the winter in these boxes with only 6 small frames. However adding an additional brood box would increase not only honey production but would also increase their winter storage of food.Overall, I cannot recommend these beehives and sellers enough. Their dedication to quality, and customer satisfaction is truly commendable. If you're looking to start your own beekeeping journey, look no further than these beehives. You won't be disappointed!

good instructions
It came quickly. It was a bit scary to assemble due to some splitting of the wood in a couple of places. It took me a couple hours because I needed to pre drill the screw holes, sand the dove tail edges and put glue in the areas where it split.I sanded it all over so that I could paint it because even though it is waxed, there were bare spots.its good to go now. I will add a bottom screen board and an inner feed board...the little hive doesn't come with those.

Doesn’t fit together
I bought this bee hive. Was sent the wrong one and was unable to get the correct pieces. The sides don’t fit and I can’t piece them together. So now I’m stuck with expensive pieces of wood.

I would call this a flowhive nuc
Ok first thing first I had a question I had a cap missing from the flow frame and reached out and got a replacement quickly with absolutely no problem. I have the other flohive from china and this one is a nucleus size to that one. It has 6 1/2 size frames for the brood area they are great quality with intended wire and pre-installed wax which was good because I wanted to try this type of frame. The flow frames are again 1/2 size and you get 4 of them. I'm still not sure how I'm liking this type of roof but I think it will be good for summer heat. There is a screen top cover that the bees can't go through which makes it great for moving if you close the bottom entrance gate the bees can't get out during transport. I staple the base to the box and screen cover before I move them. There are 2 eyelets I wasn't sure why but I cut a piece of rope and went around the box to strap it down and worked great as a handle easy to carry. I would recommend this for a small garden or backyard I just wish there was an option to add another brood box I think I'm going to make one. The joints are very tight way better than the velor box I bought and had to add alot of filler to make it air tight. Thank you
