Quality RG58 for amateur radio.
I am always needing lengths of coax for antenna runs especially as I experiment with different antennas and hardware. I usually use RG58 because it is 50 Ohm cable and readily available for a decent price. This cable has TNC connectors. Both appear to be good quality connectors and are attached professionally. If that setup doesn’t work for your application, you can always replace them with other options. I am using this between a dual band radio and a dual band omnidirectional antenna. It’s mounted securely with zip ties all along the way. I am only sending about 100 watts through. So far, no issues that I can identify. I didn’t hook up my SWR meter to it, but reception from friends was reported to be as well as any other cable I’ve used. 5-9s all the way around. I tried to torture the cables at the plugs to see if I could find any faults. There is a decent amount of stress relief and I couldn’t do anything to cause any signal loss. Time will tell how UV affects the portion of the line that is exposed to weather. So far so good. As with all kinds of cable, there are lots of options so make sure to check specs against the price and pick the best combination for you.73

Nicely constructed cable
This is a nicely constructed cable. I intended to cut the ends off and use the coax for ham radio purposes. The cable is solidly constructed. The outer jacket is a little on the stiff side, but for permanent installations this should not be a problem once the cable is routed and fastened in place. The only issue that someone may see is if the cable is mounted in a place that subjects the cable to flex as the solid core of the cable will eventually fail in this kind of an installation. As you can see from the photos, the construction of the various layers of the cable are up to snuff for most applications. Would recommend these cables for any need you may have.

Good
I ordered the wrong one but was able to use it on something else and it works great

Very well made cable
The connectors are firmly attached. The insulation is good and consistent along the run. The impedance is what it should be. A great deal.

Works as expected
No issues with construction, all connections are solid. I would only worry about the long-term aspects of removal and installation. I'm not sure how many connection cycles will be achieved, but since I really don't use them that often (or they end up in a permanent installation), I'll probably never hit that. They seal well and are a good value.

Too expensive
This will work for what it is intended for, but way overpriced

Good cable for HF antenna
I am using this for a portable deployed HF antenna. Works very well on HF bands with minimal loss. RG58 is a value option when compared to RG8X. But for portability, this is working very well - even with UHF adapters connected to the TNC connections.
