⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Blazing Fast and Supremely Portable - A Must-Have SSD!
As someone who deals with massive amounts of data for my business and marketing needs, the Kingston XS2000 1TB portable SSD has been an absolute game-changer. I honestly kick myself for not buying one of these sooner!Let's start with the obvious - having a terabyte of super-fast solid state storage that fits in my pocket is immensely valuable. I can carry virtually my entire content library with me wherever I go. No more bulky external hard drives or swapping out computers to access files. It's all lightning-quick on this little drive. The read/write speeds on the XS2000 are simply phenomenal, especially when using the included USB-C cable. Transferring large video files, RAW photos, or entire project folders happens in just seconds rather than minutes. It makes my workflow so much more efficient.Another standout feature is how seamlessly the SSD works between different operating systems. I can use it interchangeably on my Mac and Windows desktop with zero compatibility issues. The plug-and-play functionality is such a time-saver.Build quality is impressive too. The sleek aluminum body gives it a premium feel while still being extremely light and portable. And despite being incredibly compact, it has survived a few accidental drops to the floor with zero data loss or damage.I could go on singing its praises, but you get the idea - the Kingston XS2000 is worth every penny for anyone who needs blazing transfer speeds and massive capacity in a truly portable SSD. It's an indispensable tool for my career that has already paid for itself many times over in time savings and reduced hassle. Don't sit on this drive, just buy it already!

Good value for size and speed of drive - solid performance
Fast, portable, ready to go. Good price for the storage and speed ($119 for 2TB@1GB per second). The color (red) happens to match one of my peripherals, which is an interesting happenstance. Light and extremely portable. This is, upon initial use, a positive experience in both product quality and shipping expeditiousness. I'll update the review if there are further details to report. Very good!

Lots of power in a TINY DEVICE
I used this as a spare drive to dumb files on. The fact that it's quick and easy to READ N WHITE on the drive. I found no issues at all...

Kingston stood behind their product and provided very reasonable product support!
I bought this about two years ago and saved data on it. Thankfully, I kept another copy, as one should always do. The drive failed literally the only time I needed the data. So why am I giving five stars? That would be because I contacted Kingston, explained the issue, and said, "WTF." They apologized and replaced what was then a 450-dollar drive with no further questions asked. My business requires lots of these portable drives, and this was a welcome surprise. What, I don't need to argue with a non-English speaker after 30 minutes of fighting a dumb bot? I wish I didn't have to pay for shipping and insurance, etc., and I have no relationship with Kingston, but seriously, this type of thing does happen, and my time is worth more than the drive, so I am pleased that they stood behind their drive and sent me a new one. Thanks Kingston.....I'll be buying more if the replacement lasts longer than the original :)

Mighty Little Drive!
Great device that does what I need it to do….stores my important data! It’s nice and small which I appreciate it because I have it connected to my laptop 24/7 to run nightly backups.

9 years, 250 gb of memories lost.
What sold me was this was plug and play and my wife and I can store and back up pictures and videos of child growing up from our phones, cameras, other photo packages. This was supposed to be also, if we want to plug in and review. We had put 9 years, 250 gbs onto the 2 tb drive. And it suddenly becomes unrecognized. I tried across 3 machines, 2 phones. And the device fails in 2 minutes. So now im anxious as I can be, and wife is distraught over potentially losing all the digital breadcrumbs of our memories. I am scrambling to get a data recovery application and pray the its only the directory that crapped and not the storage hardware or loss of actual media.Against my better judgement, I will now go back to my idea of a dedicated storage computer.Again, 9. Years of memories. Potentially lost. I had good experiences with this brand in the past. But wow. Wow. 6 sigma and beyond really is just a catch phrase.
