I installed this hard drive in my Steam Deck, and it worked exactly as expected. Games load noticeably faster, once you have a large SSD like this you can do cryobites fixes and assign a larger swap file. I changed my swap file to 16 gigs and a swappiness of one. Then the extra storage is awesome for my growing library.If you need more space and faster load times for your Steam Deck, this is an Good choice, it is a lot cheaper than some of the other ones. and I'm pretty sure that the steam deck SSD speeds are limited and you won't benefit from a more expensive faster drive than this.

Easy to upgrade the paltry storage on the Ally and worked a treat! Total install time was about 5 minutes and reinstall of OS took about an hour YMMV.

Took a little bit to get SteamOS flashed on it, but that was more of me doing something new. It disassembled well enough for a easy install. The drive works prefect if you got the stones to put it in.
