These shelves are sturdy and work as intended, though they are not the easiest things to put together. Wish instructions actually had more written instructions with them, instead of just having some rather hard to make out pictures. We did figure it out eventually, however.

I was in need of rearranging my garage for lots of storage and was planning on building shelves, but the cost of materials was exorbitant. So, I began looking for premade and standalone shelving. I eventually came across these and was not sure if they would meet the needs, so I purchased one and found it extremely sturdy and easy to put together. I then purchased four more. It does handle the weight. I had a church pew in my cellar that I no longer need but someone is going to take it although I still needed to hold on to it for a little while longer. It took six people to move it from the cellar to the top of the shelves - no problem. I do recommend these shelves.

Sturdy and love it.

Packing was ok, but the box arrived pretty rough. Some parts got loose inside, but no scratches at all. This is probably the best part, the powder coating is superb. Even when mishandled, it's hard to put a scratch on any of the components. The product quality is great, though I wish the long support beams where a little thicker, or there should be some additional, cross beam in the middle, because the more weight you add, the more these support beams twist. The shelves still support a lot of weight, but not as much as another heavy duty brand I know. There's an included plastic hammer for assembly. Do yourself a favor and get a piece of wood and a real hammer. Use the wood vertically over the attachment points and hammer on the wood, way quicker, safer and easier than using that little plastic hammer.
