Have worked during months of freezing temperatures and snow!
I’m not a big product reviewer but had to come back and review these after a year of ownership. I have several strands lining a low wire fence around my backyard to help my dog see at night and because they look so pretty. They’re bright enough without being glaring and I love that I can adapt the light as needed. And they’ve worked through months of high winds, hurricanes, and the below-freezing temperatures of Vermont. Even despite snow now covering the cord for the last few weeks—I keep waiting for them to just not turn on… and they keep turning on! It’s been 15 months. I’m impressed.

they work and they aren't glass!
i like that the bulbs don't break and the remote has little features that some may find amusing like flashing or slowly dimming and brightening and dimming and brightening. I'm using them to light the outside of my shop so dimming and brightening or flashing is not what I want but the remote does have a timer so I can push 8 hours and no when I close up my wood shop if I forget the lights will go off. The only downside is you can't turn the lights on as far as I know without the remote and yes I'm of the age where occasionally misplaced the remote In fact it's just one more black generic remote that looks like the 10 other remotes we have for the TV fire stick Roku sound bar air conditioner you name it. for me the only solution was I painted my remote like some hippie in the '60s painted a peace poster in psychedelic swirls of fluorescent and glow in the dark paint. My wife thought it was ridiculous but there was a reason which was I was tending to leave the remote out on the table in the yard and with the glow in the dark paint I could see it and I also can flash on my little flashlight that has ultraviolet in a dark room and sometimes the paint will pick right up and I'll find it that way. The only thing it doesn't work on is when I left it in the pocket of a jacket I don't wear very much and took a couple days to find but that's really not the fault of the lights the lights are fine they work they're great They came with two extra bulbs even though they seem to not easily break and I might even get another strand to hook up with the other one

Sturdy and beautiful
I get so many compliments on these lights! After Hurricane Beryl destroyed my backyard, I needed to replace my lights along my fence. I wound up buying 3 sets and doubling them up so they’d be spaced closer together. They are a timeless design! So far, they have withstood additional tropical storms, wind and hail, and a snow storm. I can’t say enough about these lights!

GREAT QUALITY
Dimmable, bright, and great quality! The length and bulb size are just right, and the battery life is impressive. They look amazing and work perfectly!!!

Don't waste your time or money.
DO NOT BUY. This strand of lights has no strength. I have them hanging on 1/4 steel cable and somehow they still seem to separate (several times). The cord breaks right next to a bulb so that splicing requires cutting that bulb out. I have spliced these lights now at least a half a dozen times. Plugged them in tonight and saw that they broke again in another different place. Save yourself the hassle spend a little more on a more rugged set.
