Amazing verity of settings very pleasant on the eye great value

I bought these as I wanted a set I could turn on and off using an app (I lose remotes a lot). These are brilliant but not just because of the that function. You can program each and every bulb and decide what you want it to do - I mean there are plenty of pre - set function that are awesome but still. Although initially bought for Halloween I’m going to be buying a longer set for Christmas. Just wow.

Setting these up wasn't too bad, not sure how to open that spinny thing that it's wrapped in, because the wire was looped through it and not around it like it should.I set it up to make sure I got the right lights, and it was, they're not bad at all. First real minor complaint has to be the USB and the length from it to the lights, it's way too short. (Like 30 cm roughly) so you have to get an extension of some sort for it to look nice, also the USB part is see through which is kinda cool, but can see why it wouldn't be liked.First thing I did after that was use the remote and connect it to the app. It all works fine. I have a lot of good things to say about the app for once. It has timers, adjustable EVERYTHING, including individual LED's. Thankfully what you customize on the lights is saved to them, including schedules which is a big plus. The main issue with this is it requires refreshing everytime you want to customize it, meaning disconnect and reconnect (No automatic connection for whatever reason). And it updates quite slowly, there's about a 1 second delay.The next thing I did was decorate using them, I put them around the inside of my bookcase (Squeezes nicely through the door because of the thin wire). They look good, I use the rainbow setting and it works well. Even though it's a bit too long for my bookcase and I wrapped it round twice, it still works really well.The only other downside is the spacing between each light, you can see where they separate, so it isn't seamless.I saw reviews saying these don't last long, so I will update this IF things don't work properly, this is only a Day 1 review.

It says download an app to operate. The app is small in size but takes ages to download. It says connect to Bluetooth, but has no facility for connecting. So the app is useless.The lights don’t operate on the remote as they should. All in all, totally rubbish

This is the bees knees love it, so many different light effects and the response to sound is a great feature, can not wait for Christmas now to put these beauties up, have not tried the APP yet put I'm not bothered about this part. Highly recommend thanks seller and Amazon.The cable looks solid and there bright, hope they last long time.
