Q: How do you unlock screen?

You cut screen but never the wires. My basement has three thermostats for three runs of heating wires. It is absolutely fabulous. I have tile over them.

Q: Can this be installed under the house to heat tile already installed above?

Yes please follow the instructions. Using concrete is mandatory for this mat and a tile can be placed above. Cheers!
