I was looking for a great styling product to define my son’s curls after washing, and the Not Your Mother's Curl Talk Defining Cream is fantastic. It has quickly become a holy grail product in our routine! The texture of the cream is perfect—it’s thick enough to feel moisturizing but doesn't weigh the hair down or feel sticky. We apply it while his hair is still very wet, and it works beautifully to clump the curls and provide lasting hold. The scent is also very light and clean, which is a big plus. The best part? Gel isn’t the greatest
The gel made my hair quite crunchy. Safe to say it has very little hold is overall not the best gel out there

Crunchy curls..
In general does not work. Did not define my waves one bit and the gel only made my hair crunchy it was awful. Maybe it's just my hair? Will not be buying again. Definitely not worth the money Im horrified with how much I wasted.

The curl cream was good, revived my curls and made my hair shine. However, I'm not a fan of the sticky gel-like texture, felt more like a gel than a cream and it was a bit hard to apply. I feel like I've used better products that make my hair way more moisturised. This is definitely great for beginners, or people that just got into a curly hair routine. But as someone that tried many different brands, I feel like this wouldn't be my first choice. On the other hand, the clear gel is great and i always use it when I have to style my hair, as it doesn't dry out my curls.
