I am pleased with this purchase however I could not find any instructions. There are two pieces. One with a cord that you use on the outside of the window, securing the cord (eg onto the window handle) so you don’t lose it if it falls. The other part has a dial on it controlling the strength of the magnet (I think by making it closer or not to the surface). There are white pads that are connected to each part by clips that fit into a hole then twist. I bought extra pads at the same time as buying the cleaner. They need to be wetted. There is an oblong section that goes between the parts when storing them. When that is removed the parts snap together. The magnet is extremely powerful and I caught my thumb in the gap as the parts connected. It was ok but I was more careful after that! To clean, put the parts on either side of the window (part with dial on the inside and part with cord on the outside). Line them up so they connect then push the knob at the bottom of the part on the outside so the parts snap together. Then slowly move the part inside so it moves the part outside. If you go too fast the parts will disconnect and that’s why you secure the cord so the part on the outside doesn’t get lost as it falls down. I was able to clean an attic window I’ve not been able to clean before and am pleased about that. But I don’t think I’d use it where I could reach and clean the area directly. Overall good though!

Useless! Fell off the window as not strong enough on double glazing -but the magnets were still so strong that they slammed together and I couldn’t get them apart! If my hand had been caught in that, I would have broken my fingers! Dangerous I’m afraid!
