I bought it for my kid in 7th grade. He did not like it. The lid leaks, you need to close the lid tight. But my 12 year old kid cannot open the lid when you close tight, otherwise it leaks. And the smell: it dies not help at all! Its quality is similar to way cheaper plastic water bottles. Do not pay money for the smell thing that doesn’t help.

I recently purchased the Dacnod Water Bottle with Flavor Pods for my child, and it unfortunately did not meet our expectations. While the concept of a Fruit Fragrance Water Bottle sounded intriguing, the actual product felt very cheaply made. The bottle itself is made from thin, flimsy materials that don't seem durable at all. It doesn't give me confidence that it will hold up to daily use, especially by an active elementary-aged child. The quality simply does not justify the price we paid, making it feel like a poor investment. As for the flavor pods, while my child thought they were cool because of their scent, that novelty was the best part. The fragrance is pleasant initially, but it doesn't actually change the taste of the water, leaving something to be desired for older users who expect more than just a scented experience. Overall, while the concept behind the Dacnod Water Bottle is unique, the execution falls short. It's perhaps an amusing product for younger kids because of the smell, but I don't think it's worth the money spent. There are likely better options available that offer actual flavor enhancement and higher quality materials.

I thought the idea was silly but the kids insisted we try the " smell water" 😕 so instead of blowing $50 on the name brand version I found this one. I guess I can't say the product itself is bad but it's a no for me. It is sturdy, performs as it says and easy to clean if you have a straw cleaner. I have found it leaked from time to time but I think that was user error.

Thanks to You Tubers my 9 year old had to have one of these. No it doesn’t really make your water taste how it smells, that’s sort of a lie, BUT it’s fun and that alone encourages my kid to drink more water. They do have fun smells. When the cartridges are gone, I doubt I will buy replacements, but the water bottle is a nice bottle so that’s fine.

No taste

I had high hopes for this, but it is just another gimmick! I trouble shooted in every which way I could and by also looking at videos to see if I was doing something wrong…. It just doesn’t work! I can smell it but there is nothing in the taste. I think this may be a situationally based for each individual, but I will be returning mine! I’m so bummed! I was hoping 😒

The bottle was simple enough The flavors had a bad smell It kept leaking do to seal having to be set every time by the consumer and not set in the lid by company
