My horse doesn't lick it at all
My horse could care less for this treat. It has been in his stall for about two months and he has not touched it. I will not be buying more

Horse ate the whole thing within a few hours
The product is too soft to last very long. I have it free hanging but my mare has no trouble getting her whole mouth around it. I had an apple salt lick canister that lasted for months because it was much harder. I worry that eating the whole thing within a few hours is bad for the horse although I didn't notice any ill effects.

Great great! I use this in my horses treat plastic apple hanger, fits perfect, she loves it! Only thing is make sure you have it hung so that they can’t cheat and push it against wall in there stall and in all in seconds!! :p

My horse doesn’t understand that concept of “lick it”.
My very busy horse LOVES these. The problem is that, even hanging the toy correctly, he just bites them like a real apple and eats them in 3 bites. I’ve ultimately stopped purchasing these because they only last a couple of minutes at the most, which defeats the purpose, and he doesn’t need that much sugar at once!!
