My 6 yo son likes this ok. It’s a little small and he prefers to take it out of the plastic case to use it, which defeats the purpose of the strap. I bought the camera to encourage him to take pictures but all he wants is to play the games on it. I don’t know why games have to be on the camera. That’s frustrating to me. That’s why the score of 4 instead of 5.

Daughter really enjoys it. I'm not a fan of having games on it (just becomes another screen for wasting time), but of course or daughter enjoys the games. The different settings on the camera are fun to use, it's easy for her to understand and figure out. A bit blurry quality photos, but honestly, for a kids first camera to just explore and learn about taking photos and to even take under water, is a good deal for what you're getting. My biggest problem with all these little kids cameras (we tried a different brand first and decided to stick with this one) is that the video/sounds quality is terrible - can't hear or understand anything anyone is saying - so for our kids who like to take videos, that's a big disappointment. So if your priority is being able to take it to the beach, this is a fun, great choice. If your priority is video or sound quality, go with one that is more specific to being a video camera and probably doesn't go under water

In a moment of insanity I bought this for my grandsone (age five).. now I am glad I did! He gets hours of fun taking videos and photos. It really is waterproof and easy for a child to use. Thi picture quality is not great but children don’t care. It is sturdy, easy to use and provides hours of fun. In summary, this a great toy! One of the best of many toys I have bought and well worth the price!

i got it as a cheap little camera i can use on vacations and not be too scared of losing it. but it’s genuinely a good camera it’s got the silly filters you can use if you feel like it but the biggest thing is that it’s actually waterproof! took it to the ocean and it actually held up, lots of waves

Check the picture. That’s my teenage daughter diving with whale sharks in the open ocean. This camera comes ready to go with a card already loaded and battery charged. Of course the picture quality isn’t HD level for less than forty dollars, anyone who expects more is being unrealistic. The casing is simple to understand as are the controls. This camera isn’t even supposed to be able to do what we did with it diving and snorkeling for a week straight in Mexico. So very happy we purchased this for our trip, it was exactly what we needed to grab some cool underwater pictures. Enjoy and buy with confidence!
