Mardiko Light Box Drawing A3 LED Light Pad 3 Brightness Adjustable Copy Board
It is ok for the money but I have to use it plugged in to the charger. Is this right or is it an issue? It is cheap and does the job but I am not 100% happy with it because of the charge issue.

Cheap and cheerful
A good, cheap product. The device is thin and so is quite fragile and it will be a good idea to keep it in the shippong box when not in use. It runs well of an external USB battery pack. The light outputs in discrete dots rather than as a continuous glow, making it fine for tracing but not so good as a backlight for negatives.

Not bright enough
Good size and very portable...... but the back light is way too dimOK for tracing line drawings, so in reality, it has limited or basic use.....

Not at all sturdy.
I bought this to use for astrophotography. Basically, I need an even light source to create images that eliminate marks made by dust, and marks on the lens/sensor. I didn't want to spend a lot, I'll admit, but this is rubbish. It was fit for purpose when I bought it but recognise that it isn't armour-plated. I have handled it carefully and although I admit it's had some little knocks, it hasn't been dropped or flexed. Now, as you can see from the photo, it's not working. It might be fine if left on a desk, so I'll give it three stars, but if you're going to transport it and use it for other tasks, I wouldn't bother. Also, I am pretty sure that the micro-USB connection is broken. That can happen with light use as I'm sure people appreciate. I certainly wouldn't buy another but, like I said, it's possibly how I used it. I'm now looking for a better quality model.I haven't actually used it many times even though it's 12 months old. It also failed a few months back but I'm only now looking for a new one.
