Boss IndustrialCW-D1 4-Way Cross Wedge

This is a great idea which you think would save time, but it does not. Even thought it does successfully split the wood four ways, the lower two wood pieces constantly get stuck by getting pinned against the base. It takes WAY more time to get the wood un stuck, than not using it to begin with. I have split wood both using this wedge, and not using it. You will get more work done with FAR less frustration when NOT using it. I would advise you to instead, to apply the cost of this wedge towards a duel way spitter. That option DOES save time and was well worth the extra cost!

I got this 4 way wedge for my ED10T20 splitter. It is a huge time saver. For logs 10-16 in dia it's a one pass split. Done. Most of my material is in this range. With the 4 way wedge and the dual action splitting I can split as fast as I can move logs. Love it.

My husband loves this for using in his log splitter.
