The entire series “The Chosen” is absolutely amazing and so well written. These paperback Bible Studies go hand n hand with the DVDs of the same name. “THE CHOSEN” series, season 1 thru 4. I personally have found this particular series to be the absolute Best of any on this subject. The life of Jesus and his disciples

Interactive Bible study book to study and help understand.

This study is for anyone who ever suffered ( so it’s basically for everyone). Great insights

I have all four of the "Interactive" Bible Studies published so far, as well as the Devotional and novels that have been published so far. In addition, I have similar Bible Study books for Seasons 1 through 3, and they are all well written and biblically sound! The book for Season 1 had for its foundation, Isaiah 43:1-21. The foundation for Season 2 are the Beatitudes in Matthew 5:1-10. And, for Season 3, it's Matthew 11:28 ("“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."). I saw all 8 Episodes of Season 4 when they were shown in local theaters, so I an familiar with what Season 4 is all about. The first 3 Seasons were fairly easy going, but with Season 4, the content becomes more challenging to deal with; Jesus and his disciples are finding life more difficult as opposition from Temple Leaders and the Romans increases. So, as difficulty increases so does suffering and hardship. If those of you who are reading this are familiar with the Gospel narratives (Matthew, Mark, Luke & John), you will understand, because as Jesus enters the second half of His ministry, both He and His disciples are drawing more and more attention from powerful people, as well as increasing opposition from them.Each chapter focuses in on one of the 8 Episodes from each season, and includes significant portions of the script from the episode, and some questions to think on. An interesting feature of each chapter is the "For Bible Nerds (like us)" side-bars that help give some deeper understanding. If there was something I'd like to be revised in these books it would be to the font size (I'd like it to be larger), and the occasional "teal' colored text. I don't mind color being used, I'd just like more contrast with the white paper. At my age, I won't stop using these books, but I can see I will have to get my good magnifying glass out!
