Mount Low Mens Waterproof Walking Shoes

I bought a pair of these a few years ago, and they are still a good support and comfortable on long walks - although now showing signs of wear and tear. Not surprising considering the sometimes tough terrain they walked through. Great value for money. I hope my recently purchased shoes will do the same.

Bought these shoes six months ago and wear them every day. I walk between 2 - 3 miles every day in all weathers as part of my physiotherapy and these shoes have been brilliant. Totally waterproof and fit like a glove. I also have a pair of boots made by the same company in a similar style for snowy weather. Both are excellent value for money and very durable.

I really like these, I’m a fan of Karrimor anyway so this is an easy review. They are comfortable, waterproof and nice and light. They are really well made as you’d expect from this manufacturer. The grip is excellent in the wet, warm enough to use in cooler temperatures if bigger boots aren’t for you

The sole has good grip.. Comfortable to wear. Inner sole is reasonably thick to prevent sores from treads. Good width at the toe end; I have struggled with walking shoes too narrow at the ball of the foot causing side blisters or to tapered on the outer toe edge causing pinching and blisters to the 4th and 5th small toes with bruising to the upper knuckle joints. A little loose. Shoe charts are UK14 (48), sellers heading is UK14 (49.5); so i tend to think they are made slightly oversized. A little worried they will rub on the heel; the heal padding is pretty basic. There are some voids in the sole to heel material seal; that might let in water and cause early sole detachment. Will update once I have put the to the test.

My footwear is all size 10.5 or 11. Chose 11 for these and they fit perfectly. If you're a half size then you might want to round up. Comfortable for me (not all walking boots are). Can't vouch for longevity. Good value at £35. Paid £5 for delivery but rather that than trailing to Sports Direct. Use them for walking the flat countryside tracks of Oxfordshire so don't need better. Good looking in black. Would buy again.

The shoes are true to size. If you are between two sizes, choose the bigger one. They provide a good balance between stability and flexibility. Not too heavy and comfortable right from the start.
