At first they all worked when put batteries in, turned on and tried remote with each one. But when used remote to turn them off, one of the smallest candles wouldn't work with the remote. Turned it off on the bottom and back on and it still wouldn't work with remote. Removed batteries and put them back in and still not working with remote. So I have a candle that has to be turned on and off manually and stays white and doesn't flicker. Since have only had a couple of days not sure if the others are going to continue working with remote. I already have led candles that are only white and turn on manually. I purchased these for the different colors and the remote function.UPDATE: Two candles weren't working for Halloween and just tried them for Christmas and now only one candle is working. These candles are total crap!! DON'T BUY!!!!!

So far so good, love the multicolor feature. So very comforting to see the beauty of candlelight in my windowsill at night. One of the candles was defective and to my complete delight, Amazon will replace it. Can't conclusively rate the battery life nor durability of this set since I just rec'd the candles yesterday.

Product is awesome I love them by turn it off with remote leaves it on stand by witch kills the battery slowly you have to switch it off from the bottom to prolong the battery life witch I have no problem doing other than that it worth buying the affect of the coloring changing it beautiful at nite with all other home lights off

Disappointing, the colors are not nearly at vibrant as the picture. They go thru batteries weekly and the color fades after 1 day until I put new batteries in.

I got these for a friend of mine and she has no complaints at all and absolutely loves them. I looked at all the different types of sets available on Amazon and choose this one because of the already existing reviews and really the type of battery these candles use. A lot of them use watch type batteries and I usually stay away from anything that requires them. Not saying anything negative. It’s just a personal preference of mine. Product works great and as advertised without a glitch. I recommend this set without hesitation.

needed for an event that went well into the night for several nights and it was a set it and forget it situation. that said, the timer option turned the candles on at the same time each night, but didn't remember the color set, so you do have to use the remote to set the color each time the candle kicks back on. these also provide a surprising amount of light, especially when gathered together!

I really like the colors and the fact that they work with a remote but I've been going thru 15 AAA size batteries a week. Once the batteries gets low the colors start to change.. that starts about 3 days after the new batteries are installed. I use them about 3-4 hrs per night for ambiance. The ones I got from Costco, 2 AA batteries, lasted months. Just saying.

The candles are great. The colors are very vibrant. The remote is easy to use.My only complaint is that, since they're made from wax, they feel waxy. I didn't mark off any stars because of course they feel waxy when they're made of wax, but I feel like washing my hand after touching them.
