First to keep in mind, this item was $130….very fair price for this item. Honestly don’t believe it could be homemade for a whole lot less. Other reviews caused me to hesitate, but so glad I decided to take a chance on this purchase. I am 56, female, and I had no difficulty putting this together. Instructions were very clear pictures, simple construction. If you can’t build this, than you should never get anything that requires assembly. I have added some pictures, and here are some details/ tips to go with them:Photo 1) I chose to add wood glue to the 4 corner sections; I figured couldn’t hurt to add some strength and durabilityPhoto 2) just a close up of joining the corners with added gluePhoto 3) this is the inside view of the screen lid, my narrow trim piece across the center of the screening arrived detached, so I simply applied some wood glue and then hammered in some small tack nails to hold back in place. Manufacturer used very tiny staples, so they didn’t hold.Photo 4) all assembled and ready to use, tray slides in very nicely, as long as it is assembled correctly. The covered box area does not sit flush to the tray, so no need to keep trying to push it down.No missing parts, no broken parts, and yes I would buy this again. I am going to add some cabinet handles to mount on each end; this is something that would make a nice add-on by the manufacturer. I will be using mine as a brooder for baby chicks.I didn’t give it 5 stars, because it isn’t perfect, but it is quite close.

Has worked well with baby chicks and a heat plate. Not made of real cedar from what I can tell, just stained cedar colored.

Its as pictured but it didn't come with all the hardware.

It’s made of cedar which isn’t good for chicks I didn’t know until I got it. It’s also made cheap, the latches are such a thin metal it broke and 3 of the tiny screws broke. It will work for the price but if your looking for something to last you a while I’d look elsewhere.
