Scratchless grip
Effective but limited to small tools

Fits these three different brands, but not Kobalt. Overall happy.
Plastic is mostly hard but will prevent scratching, but maybe not so good for preventing slipping but it does have some grip. I'm very happy that they fit three different brands: Pittsburgh, Husky, and Stanley. Would not fit on Kobalt as the Kobalt was too thick and wide at the jaws. For all three that it fit above, I did have to push hard against the floor to get them on.

They are secure and it is a 6 pack, don't leave them on the wrench
I was worried they'd be loose, but they hold well when slid on. I haven't used them yet but they should be fine.I didn't really realize I'd get a pack of 6 so I'm set for years, since I usually use the pliers without them. The package shows these are for the curved slot (newer) version, which suits my several year old 10" water pump pliers (Craftsman branded Knipex). See the picture.Update: I left the jaw protectors on my water pump pliers and after a few weeks, when I needed the grip of the jaws, I took them off and found rust (see the picture). This tool was kept in a dry location so I figure this can cause a problem for anyone. Be aware. Also, I found they fit pretty good on the Wiha 10" pliers. One side doesn't stay on when put into a tool pouch but they fit surprisingly well and don't just fall off.https://www.amazon.com/Wiha-32637-Soft-Grip-Pliers/dp/B071RC1NQFI'm still happy I got these, and happier I noticed when it was just surface rust. If I do want to leave them on, I'll have to find something to coat the jaws with.

Kinda disappointed
I was hoping to use these to remove a sink faucet regulator without scratching the chrome finish . Unfortunately the rubber kinda twisted and slipped off the angled fitting. I ended up just putting a microfiber cloth in the jaws and it worked better. Hopfully they will come in handy for other projects like installing a shower head or something

Inexpensive substitute for plastic jaw pliers
These fit my channel lock water-pump pliers perfectly much less expensive and don’t leave marks on chrome plated close nipples.

Fits Doyle water pump pliers perfectly!
I bought for my Doyle Harbor Freight water pump pliers -- works great!

Waste of Money
Knipex pliers have very sharp teeth and pierce through these fake protectors instantly within the first few minutes of use. It's a shame as my much cheaper Husky pliers with similar protectors do not have such problems.
