Great heat, haven't turned them off all winter long and they're holding strong
Bought 2 bulbs, one for my parrot aviary and another for the chicken coop. Bulbs stay on all winter, just enough heat to keep my birds warm but not hot enough to burn them or start any fires from surrounding objects, bedding, etc. These bulbs do not emit any light, just heat which was great for my birds sleep cycles.

Keep things from freezing
I was putting 200- and 250-watt heaters in five spaces in my motorhome to keep the water lines from freezing. I winterized the water lines, but there was one water line that I couldn't winterize that went from the freshwater tank to the pump, which Winnebago decided to put on the opposite sides of the RV. I still use one 200-watt heater to pass warm air through the chase that goes across the back of the RV along the outside wall, and I put one of these het bulbs in a compartment to keep a part of the line warm in the last few feet before reaching the pump. Winnebago also didn't allow for adding pink antifreeze (propylene glycol) to the freshwater tank. I have left the water in the tank and occasionally turn on a 250-watt heater to keep the water from freezing. It takes a while for it to freeze. I would like to pour pink antifreeze in the tank and pump it through the water line. I will work on that.

My go-to reptile heater
This is probably the third one of these bulbs we have bought. They put out great heat for their size and have no light which is ideal. If there is one negative, it's that they only last about a year, but maybe that's typical for ceramic heaters. I appreciate that they include a temperature gauge as those seem to only last about a year too! So I dinged it a star for the lifespan but I keep buying them.

Worth the value
This is a repeat purchase for us. We've had many reptiles and these worked great for the heat needed.

Worked great
About this for our greenhouse to help. Keep my plants warm and not give off light at night and so far this has been great and worked like a charm.

Perfect for Chicken Coop when safely placed and secure.
These bulbs are PERFECT to take a bit of chill off the chicken coop in cold weather, without emitting any light at all to upset the chickens. I tried red and black lights prior and both kept the chickens stirred up and not sleeping well. This is a perfect answer. I used a bulb in a reflector tin and hung it very safe and securely, aimed at the roost. Very Pleased!! Thank you.
