Great grape protection
I've worn a lot of hardhat, from those plastic issue ones, to the fiberglass and the newer tacticool looking ones that comes with "built-in" safety glasses/shades that looks like you'll be a gunner on a helo(the heaviest of them all). Unfortunately for me, having a few herniated disks/fusion on my cervical spine, those I listed were uncomfortable to wear all day and by the end of the week my neck and shoulders are screaming in pain 😩. I prefer full brim HH and was looking into the carbon fiber models and it seems there are a lot more to choose from nowadays. One I was considering originally was the Lift, but at the price point, I wanted to check something else and then I came across this gem. Unlike the other models, this one comes with a built in safety glasses and a chin strap which I feel was a nice add-on to keep an expensive HH secured to your grape and I was intrigued by the way the ratcheting headband looks... Coming to the present after a month of use, I could say this is the most comfortable HH I've worn to date. Even with the addition of the glasses, it feels like I'm just wearing a ball cap. There have been times I forget I'm wearing it and hitting my head getting into my car. It is noticeably lighter than the other carbon HH out there, not just my opinion but also from the other guys that tried mine on. I haven't had a problem with the headband adjusting strap and I use it everytime I take it off and put it on. I especially like now the back to the strap secures to the base of the back of my head. If you were prior service and wear your boonies with the strap secured behind your head, you know what I'm talking about. It's so secure I took off the chin strap.. Don't need it. The built in safety glasses is a nice bonus but if you have a small head.. you'll probably have a hard time with it sitting on the bridge of your nose or even if you can get it close to it. I don't use it since I wear wraparound prescription safety shades. They also put on a fabric under the hat so when you aren't using the glasses, it doesn't get scratched up. If you do end up using it a lot and you need a replacement glasses, you can get them for like $10. Just search for it here on Amazon. The ones on my tacticool HH interchange with it. Also, the added strap holder for a light works.. Just don't get a head light that is a strip of led since those led strip lights are long and it won't fit the front 2 strap holders. I won't be using mine since that's added weight. My only gripe about this hat is that it doesn't come with edge guards like the Lift or ILM. Would be nice if it comes with it especially if it's like the ILM which gives more side coverage.

Suspension is comfortable but cheep
I wear a hard hat 12 to 16 hours a day in the oilfield up in the Arctic. I loved the look and comfort of this hard hat but the adjustable band cracked and broke on me within 8 weeks and without the ability to purchase a suspension separately it is worthless to me. I’m not going to pay for a whole new hard hat because the suspension is made with cheep plastic. My cheep company issued hard hat uses better quality plastic.

Expensive and Bad customer service
This item states 2 year warranty. It is not!! They want you to purchase parts at your cost. Inner suspension cracked at adjustment knob. A $190 hard hat should last longer than a $16 one. O ly reason why I didn't purchase the LIFT brand is because of this warranty

Very comfortable
This has been my favorite hard hat in years. I recently switched from the lift hard hats because I didn’t like how the webbing fit my head. This hard hat for me is a lot more comfortable. I removed the straps and I like how the glasses tuck up in the hard hat. The glasses stay tucked up also. I work for a commercial GC and have had this hat for 6 months with no issues.
