This unit fits perfectly in the corner. It does have two brackets you can screw into the wall to help keep it from falling over. I used the brackets since it is sitting on carpeting. Unit is sturdy and doesn't look cheap.

I was looking for a way to make an empty corner area between two windows look less bare. I don’t really like fake plants and I don’t have a green thumb, so, this shelf gave height and was the perfect solution. It’s not as big as an end table but allows for just enough room to provide simple decor items. It was easy to assemble. It is lightweight so putting heavy items on it could cause it to fall forward. I put two foam furniture pads under the front bottom board just to provide a little extra leveling and avoiding any forward falling mishaps. It does come with wall anchors, but, the area I placed the shelf didn’t have a great place to install them. My solution is working out so far.
