Our old kettle packed up just before Xmas and I was in a bit of a hurry to get a new one delivered, but still wanted to make sure I got the right one. The Russell Hobbs Luna seems so far to do the job and I am very pleased I chose this one. It is quick to boil and quieter than my last one. It has got the water level at the front and not behind the handle so easy to see and fill to the right level. It pours very easily and without spilling. The 1,2,3 cup level inside is useful thought not that important as I find it easier to look at the front water level. It looks good and fits nicely with my other electrical appliances. It is brushed "silver". The button to open the lid is great and can be done one handed. I followed the instructions to rinse it out and boiled the kettle twice before using it so have had no problems with taste or smell of the water. Because it is well made, it is slightly heavier when filled than my last one and that might be a problem with arthritis hands. The kettle is slightly more expensive than I would normally spend but I am very happy with product and would buy again.

This stylish kettle is the quietest kettle I have ever owned and is substantially cheaper than my last 3 kettles, which were all considerably more expensive and very loud! The lid flips open fully for filling and the blue light inside helps me see when the kettle is approaching boiling point. Highly recommend this kettle!

To begin with I was very happy with this kettle. It looks good in my new kitchen, it boil rapidly, and it's an excellent pourer. I've had it around 6 weeks, now. However, yesterday when the kettle had just boiled, my hand slipped on the handle and my hand touched the body of the kettle. The body of the kettle was as hot as the water in the kettle, and the side of my hand was scolded. I write this review to warn prospective purchasers of the danger intrinsic in the design of this kettle. I am not aware of any other kettle with this potential hazard.

Brilliant kettle. Looks stylish, and more importantly it has a 2 year(extendable to 3yr) guarantee and it does boil quickly and quietly.

What's not to like about this kettle. Very quiet. Great design and has a spout that does not drip. All good.

Purchased this 7 years ago and finally the connection between kettle and base started only working intermittently. A few months ago the lid stopped staying open. But it lasted 7 years. That’s good for a kettle that’s used several times a day. We were so happy with it that we purchased the same kettle again. Here’s to another 7 years! It’s excellent. It can boil 1 cup of water. And it boils fast ! So definitely 5 stars for me

Bought this toaster and it just burns the crusts and edges of sliced bread from the fridge. Never saw this before. You can smell the burning after a minute or so in. Very disappointed T S

I would not recommend this product. I bought mine in mid July and less than 3 months later it is leaking onto my countertop and onto the kettle base itself. Highly dangerous. I want a full refund.
