I'm 100% happy with this device. I do have another of a different type and it was totally annoying because when you adjust the volume to maximum it emits a very loud beep noise which is actually quite painful and that is what you really don't want when driving. I was happy to find that this device does not do this, no annoying beeps. I am really looking forward to using this on long journeys. Quality is excellent

Wow, set it for 107 and it completely wipes out all of the rest of the FM frequency, band 88 to 108 so if you choose another memory (say 96) you won't hear that station, but bleed from this unit can be heard. Also at 107 it also transmits at other various frequencies, sometimes better than the indicated frequency. Awful.The Wireless Telegraphy (Exemption) (Amendment) Regulations 2006 means that certain low-power transmitters are legal to use without a licence. However, many devices currently on the market will remain illegal as they do not meet the legally required technical specifications and could interfere with radio broadcasts.The new amendments also reflect a European standard on the low-power transmitters. All approved transmitters will carry a CE mark indicating approval for sale in the European Union. This unit, like a lot which are for sale on Amazon, does not carry such a mark.
