ORIBE Valley of Flowers Bar Soap

The lather feels wonderful on my skin. Smells glorious.

I expected for the price the soap would be delivered in the box, but it was out of the box thrown into a bag with other things I had ordered. I love Amazon , but this is my first disappointment, It is a very nice soap and my husband loves it so I will be ordering more, hope it is delivered in better condition

This is a very large bar of soap that comes in a beautiful package; if you are looking for this to be giftable, it very much is. The soap really lathers up much more than is common, and it has a rich and creamy feel to it. The experience is very hydrating, not at all drying. The scent is lovely, complex, and in no way is it "one note." It is described as having notes of "bulgarian rose, peony blossoms and creamy musk" while sounds just right to me. The floral scent is lightly sweet but balanced perfectly by the musk and milky notes. Overall this is a sophisticated floral that wells wear with any other scents you may use.

I’m a fan of Oribe’s Valley Of Flowers fragrance. I first ordered it as a pencil-sized eau de parfum to see whether or not I liked it. The fragrance has a sophisticated scent, and the parfum lingers most of the day. This soap has the same floral fragrance as the parfum. Both have turned into personal favorites for me, and they complement each other well. I like soaps that have lasting power—this one does as a large, economically sized bar and with a lingering scent. I may order the Valley Of Flowers body wash next.

This is a pricey bar of soap but i must say it smells amazing and lathers nicely leaving my skin feeling soft and hydrated and the smell lingered on my skin for a long time after my shower and that made me feel fresh & clean . The bar is large so i should get lots of showers out of it before i have to get a new one . I rarely give 5 star reviews but i did give this a 5 star even though i think the price is high because i feel you do pay more for quality and this soap is a luxurious high end bar of soap which i personally will pay more for .

I have psoriasis but my skin isn't overly sensitive. I didn't experience any dryness or irritation while using this soap. The scent is nice, like lilies of the valley. It's not overwhelming and went away after washing. I didn't get much lather, but that's not a deciding factor in soaps for me. I'm pretty sure this is a known brand. That being said, while it works as intended, it didn't wow me, especially for the listed price. If you don't mind paying extra for brand name, I'd say go for it.

I have used Oribe brand haircare with good results, but it can be pricey, as this soap is pricey. This soap would be great for a guest room, or even better in a gift basket. It's a big bar of soap with a punch of scent. If you don't like heavily scented products, are scent-sensitive, you may not like this. I like spicy scents better than floral, but this does have a bit of spice scent to it so it's not too sweet. I would strongly suggest using a soap holder that encloses the soap so it doesn't wash away little by little in the shower spray. It's too pricey for that. Would I order this again? At this price for a bar of soap likely not unless I ordered it as a gift. For my own use, I would rather spend my money on products for my hair or skin rather than a bar of soap, but I'll enjoy this one while I have it.

This Oribe Valley of the Flowers Soap smells really nice, which is good because it lingers after washing it off. It's a woodsy floral not an old fashioned one. It reminds me of what I'd find in a fancy hotel. I think men and women will both like it, although it might not be the best if you're sensitive to fragrance. I have dry hands and find this moisturizing enough. I'm using this as hand soap in our guest bathroom. One side has the word Oribe carved in, but I prefer the other side that has the Oribe logo, which is a fun design (see photo). It is a big bar and should last a long time. Recommend.
