This helps a lot! For awhile was KJVO but when I cannged my position, still could read, memorize, and study from the KJV with not problems until 19 November 2004. I had been wounded in an IED ambush in Tal Afar, Iraq. Puncturing head wound to my left side. Had shrapnel in my brain and they eventually cut out a good sized chunk of my skull (have been replaced by prosthetic skull---a little bit bigger than my hand). For mist right handed people, your language functions would be on the left side of your brain.I had a lot of problems reading the KJV because of archaic word endings or thee and thou. If I got to a text that had a lot like that, would eventually arrest my mind trying to read and reread the same text until I got frustrated and stopped trying. tried the NKJV and the MEV. Problem was they departed from the KJV text too many times and would have to go find the familiar KJV to see how it was rendered. Believe me-got nearly 29,000 volume library with Logos. So yeah-to go do a word study was not the problem.What I did was copied and pasted KJV in Word and started replacing thee and though and word endings. a lot of work and a lot of time. Found this bible as that is what they did with the KJVER and no problems with archaic rendering. Love how they put the words of God in red in the OT! I like the size of the text I got but would really like to see a large print edition with one column, not two. (My hang up with trying to read).If you love the KJV and not so hung up on the Onlyism issue-this I think you will like.For me, would like to see a edition of this work in Kindle and Logos Bible Software.Even though I paid for it, thank you for making this such a valuable gift for those of us who do not do so good with the KJV but love the KJV.

There are many things I love about this Bible. It has a large font, and the "thees" and "thous" plus other archaic language has been replaced by modern equivalents, and yet the text stays true to the King James Version. It is easy to both read and understand. Plus I love the fact that not only are Jesus' words in red in the New Testament, but the words the Lord speaks in the Old Testament are also in red. The indexed tabs make scripture easy to find. This is a great Bible!

Fell below expectations, there was no look inside option to verify - Described as a Study Bible but should be called a Reference Bible as there are no study notes within the individual books. Each book has a survey & about the author. There is a section covering 50 various topics: names & attributes of God; rarely used words; word changes; how to interpret; Creationist defenses fossils woodpecker dinosaurs Carbon 14 evolution & wages of sins the Global Flood end times in the Bible Chronology - the Magdelen Papyrus Mark 16:9-20 Babylon & Tower of Babel Favorite Bible stories readings life experiences historical charts where did the races come from biblical coins biblical symbolism topical Concordance a guide to personal witnessing and more. All in all it has value to the reader - it just not a Study Bible

This is a beautiful bible and too me it was well worth the money I spent. But, personally I was not able to use it because it is not a true KJV. Very close, from what can tell. I prefer KJV. Nevertheless each bible I purchased was gifted and the recipients were very pleased and happy with them

I reviewed this Bible extensively before I purchased it; not just on Amazon but everywhere I could find a review of it (especially on YouTube) Every review I found, spoke in glowing terms about this KJVER Sword Study Bible. The more I read about it, the more excited I became! I saw the reviews on Amazon as well and was super impressed. All I can say is WOW! I have bought so many study Bibles and have even been given at least one (my dad left me his on his passing). From the way it explains the Names of God that totally enhances my understanding of the context; to the way it handles the singular and plural usages of the words thee, thou, thy and thine and also the word ye are all changed to you but with an indication as to whether the word “you” is singular or plural is simply awesome. The Treasury of Biblical Information is an outstanding feature. The concordance is tremendous. You won’t find any other study Bible this good at any price and this one is not expensive! Even the leather backing is so good it leaves me totally astounded. I will never want another!

She has told me multiple times how much she enjoys her gift. My husband has one also and likes his.

It’s a good Bible. The only problem is finding a protective cover for it. It’s 8” wide and every cover I have and recently bought one just for this one is too snug.The cheap canvas ones will fit it.But I guess I will make a leather cover to keep it clean when traveling with it.Otherwise it’s pretty. I like the print. I bought this one as well as medium size and the small version. I have many bibles so it was a nice addition.

I have bought 2 of these within a few weeks because the first one, which was genuine leather, smelled so bad that I returned it. Awful smell of glue and or plastic yuk every page stank of it even the leather! I noticed that it was published in 2017.I have since purchased another but this time purple soft cover published in 2020 and absolutely no smell at all. I’ve been using it a few days and already the inside cover is showing signs of wear and tear and cracking (through being bent a bit I think. Isn’t that normal? Also I see there is an essay on the tribulation with a very strong bias toward post Trib. I don’t understand why such strong ‘opinions’ have to be made in a bible.I absolutely love that it’s a red letter version in the old and New Testament and that is why I bought it as well as being easy read KJV.I originally thought this would be my main bible but I’m not so sure if it will last I’ve hardly used it look at the photo after only a few days.I use Strong’s concordance and Dakes on my iPad and iPhone and find them to be brilliant for study also it’s quick!Hope this helps.

This is an interesting bible version. It provides close to 100 topics in the three categories of God, Plan and Man. You can follow each topic throughout the bible. That compares with 4,000 topics in Thompson Chain Reference Bible. You don't get the conventional cross references between verses. Having said that if this bible proves helpful for you in clarification of just one important issue like justification or the end times it is certainly worthwhile to buy it.Nobody would buy this bible because of its layout, because it looks more like a pre-production draft rather than a finished product. Apart from that it has been noticed by others that the off gassing from the leather binding is very bad and I wonder whether it may even have negative health effects.In conclusion I would say that this bible has its merits, but merely as a supplement to other bibles. I would recommend a version with a synthetic cover rather than the leather version. After all it is a working bible.
