Was considering a video doorbell for sometime for my business but disliked the idea of an ongoing monthly subscription. I separately had an older style keypad lock but it didn't have fingerprint capabilities and was a bit challenging to program. I happened to see this smart video lock in a local store and thereafter purchased on Amazon. The two-for-one was interesting but the lack of ongoing monthly subscriptions sold me on the product.If you can install a regular doorknob, you can install this. Lots to like about this video lock - easy setup, the app works well and can alert on mobile device when motion detected (note that it can be setup to only alert when the door is locked - exactly what we wanted/needed; we don't want/need notifications when we're open so the ability to select these things is great!) I can easily see who locks and unlocks the door and at what time. Similar to a video doorbell you can see video and talk in real time if someone comes to the doorOne can add a master code and separate codes for each user. Another great feature of this lock is the ability to program with alternative codes / fingerprints AND have a back-up key "just in case"Considered rating this 4 star because the initial buy-in seemed a bit steep (compared to separately purchasing a keypad lock and a video doorbell). However, if you plan to keep the Lockly for more than say 3 years the overall cost vs video subscription fees would keep going down each year and with this you get a lot more than a doorbell.

Works nice out of the box, but God forbid if you change any network settings after, trying to reinstall this will cost you a lot of time. When attempting to reinstall and reset, suddenly features do not work. WiFi hub doesn’t find whatever it is looking for, lock itself doesn’t want to connect to the app. This is my third Lockly lock, had the same luck with one of the other ones. Third one, I haven’t had to reset yet. So be warned.

Love these locks have one at the front entrance camera and add this one to our back door.Recommend!!

This Lockly Vision elite requires connection via ethernet cable. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS UNIT UNLESS YOU HAVE A ROUTER WITHIN 10ft.

LOCKLY works great, I was switching from kiwset to Lock hole was small to fit in lockly but once corrected the hole it was easy to fit when we follow their guide, happy that choose this project

Solid all around system. Good that it comes with 2 rechargeable batteries so I can always have a charged one ready. Wish there was an option for a larger plate. Had some trouble since the dead bolt hole in the door frame had to be enlarged quite a bit.
