Great size to tackle tight spaces. Gentle on gums.

Works well for cleaning the back of your molars.

I bought this toothbrush for my cat and it works ok. It's a bit too big for the back teeth to be washed thoroughly, but we'll get the hang of it :)

But not for the reasons you may expect.I have cats with congenitally bad teeth - to the tune of a house mortgage payment every 6 months for cleaning and the extractions (they are only two years old). So, in order to lessen the load both for myself and the cats, I committed to a daily tooth brushing routine prescribed by my vet. Yes, Every.Single.Day.This is literally the 8th toothbrush I've tried to make this task even do-able. When Googling for what other crazy cat ladies use for cat prophylaxis, I found the recommendation for this toothbrush on a Maltese forum - as if it can't get any nuttier, there are crazy dog people who talk about this stuff, too.I ordered these right away - these brushes come 6 to a pack, and are individually boxed and wrapped - much like you'd buy a toothbrush off the shelf at a store - except I've never seen a brush like this. It is a micro brush head of four small bristles on an angled head with a four inch reach meant for cleaning hard to reach spaces in the mouth. Apparently, the true use of this brush is for use on dentures, bridgework, and caps. It just so happens that even after buying special toothbrushes made for cats, this thing works ten times better than everything I've bought before. Plus, it is a real, human quality toothbrush, so it is definitely more durable than a pet formulated toothbrush.Thank goodness for my dog friends over on the Maltese forum - tooth brushing is still like herding cats, but at least I can get the job done.

The brush is not so soft so it hurts while brushing near the gum. Hope it wears out quickly so I can get something else from another brand.

I'm so grateful to have found this toothbrush! I'm extremely meticulous with my dental care, so you can imagine my horror when I realized my recently erupted wisdom tooth started to really REEK. I'm not talking about a bout of bad breath... When YOU can smell the offensive odor yourself, that ain't good. Even after taking extra care to clean that tooth the smell would literally come back within 10-20 minutes; it was really starting to affect my self-esteem as I didn't want to get too close to friends/family until I got this under control.I ordered these as a last resort before considering an extraction, which I really can't afford this very minute and I am so, so, soooo happy. It's only been three days since I've started using this brush to clean my wisdom tooth and the odor is completely gone, all day long. It was awkward trying to figure out how to brush with this for the first day, but now I've got the hang of it, it's super easy to use.It does seem like a bit of an inconvenience to have two brushes for cleaning my teeth but even if I do get my wisdom tooth extracted later on down the road, I think I will continue to use these brushes as part of my regular routine. I like the way they reach around my back molars and I like that it can reach spots that my regular brush simply can't. Love the narrow brush handle (I had looked at the GUM tufted brush - but not crazy about the big oversized handle), that these come in 6 packs, and are affordable. I will continue to purchase these in the future and would highly recommend them to family/friends.
