I used to drink whey protein. I tried chocolate and vanilla flavours. The chocolate flour was okay, but the vanilla was too sweet. By nature, I'm not fond of sweet tastes, so drinking the vanilla-flavored protein shake was unbearable. Recently, I have stopped dairy and gluten therefore, I was looking for alternatives. As I have PCOS, one of the PCOS Youtubers recommended Garden of Life, plant plant-based protein powder. I was skeptical about the taste because I don't like my protein drinks to be too sweet. However, the Garden of Life protein drink took me by surprise. It tastes good, honestly! I saw comments where people were complaining about the taste and texture. But I have no complaints about the taste or the texture. I recommend this product. I love it!! The first protein drink I tried from this brand was their chocolate flour. It does not taste like chocolate, but more like caramel toffee. The first two gulps tasted strongly like caramel toffee. For me, it was overwhelming, but I quickly got used to the taste and now I don't taste the caramel-toffee flavor that too strongly. I love the chocolate drink too! So, anyone out there who is considering buying this product, I would say go for it!

I’m gutted this isn’t what I expected. The powder is so heavy, it doesn’t dissolve, makes the shake’s consistency very thick and has that constant powder cast in my mouth. The taste is also below average for a vanilla protein powder, all in all I regret this purchase and can’t understand how it got such good reviews.

Combined with the vanilla premier protein shake, I had myself a delicious and delightful meal replacement. And very filling. It kills all of my cravings.

The taste of this shake is horrible. The consistency is grainy and no matter what you mix it with, it is completely satisfying.
