Kills Invasive JORO spiders
Finally something that kills the invasive Joro spiders, and you don't have to drown them for it to be effective. A one second spray is enough. One can killed about 47 spiders around the outside of our home. Hooray!I like this so much, I bought a case! (That should last us though the summer). Excellent product. Decent spray range. I only wish the stream could spray a little farther, like the wasp spray does. Only the first spritz goes 8ft. The rest of the can sprays more like 4-5ft distance.

Works!
I rented a condo with a semi-finished basement. It was spider heaven down there and I had hoped to make an exercise space in the basement. Every window space and ceiling joist was filled with spiders. I masked up and sprayed 1.5 of these cans around all the windows, inside and out, ceiling joists and nooks and crannies. I waited two weeks and then vacuumed up the webs. It's been two months and no spiders have returned. I had tried a different brand before purchasing the Black Flag and didn't have good results. So far I'm completely happy with the Black Flag solution.

It Works!
It really works. I had a spider (not hairy) the size of a tarantula in the garage. It's no longer there.

Works, but pumps out a very aggressive stream. Same ingredients as Hot Shot.
This stuff does kill spiders. Black Widows, which are notoriously tough, struggle and fight for a minute or two - but eventually they die. My only problem with this product is that the stream is extremely aggressive. It comes out hard, tightly streamed, and in mass volume. For comparison, Hot Shot brand spider killer is the exact same active ingredients, and you get about 25% less volume with the Hot Shot, for about 25% less money. But the 11 oz. Hot Shot actually covers a lot more area, because it comes out in more of a fog, less of a stream. If you are gunning at a speeding spider or scorpion, then maybe you need the intense stream of the Black Flag. But, if you are treating an area, then I think the Hot Shot is the better option. Again, both products are the exact same active ingredients. If you like to mix up insect killers to prevent species resistance, know that the Terra brand uses different ingredients.I took off one star, because you really can't treat large areas cost effectively with a stream this aggressive. And for my needs, the Hot Shot "fog" is satisfactory for spot killing. If you are just picking off speedy pests on the spot, then this might be your best option. If you are primarily area treating or spot killing bugs of the non-speedy variety, then go with the Hot Shot or Terra.I can't offer any perspective on the effectiveness against scorpions,....only spiders.

works great on the outdoor furniture.
My girlfriend gets crazy with this stuff. Too many black widows' spiders love to hide in the BBQs and outdoor furniture. This stuff keeps them at bay. I let her have at with the spray. Really works well.

Works Great
I sprayed another brand on a black widow & it seemed nothing much was happening. When I used this brand, the spider had a different reaction & died in about 30 seconds.

Kills Instantly!
Had a bunch of spiders around my garage including a BLACK WIDOW!! Was recommended this item because of how inexpensive it was and how easy it was to use. As mentioned it killed every spider I saw instantly and didn’t leave any mess or any weird smell behind.

Definitely Kills But Could Be Better
I bought two cans to take care of a spider outbreak around the roof of our home. Use them both last night, and yes, they definitely killed the spiders, but though the can says it kills up to 5', my experience with both cans was that it was very "misty" and the spray pattern was far wider than you would expect for on-contact spraying, thus I felt a lot was wasted and the two cans were quickly empty.
