Grandstream GWN7803P | 24-Port Gigabit Ethernet Layer 2+ Managed PoE Switch

This switch, like other Grandstream products I have tried, is outstanding. Don't know why this manufacturer is slept on, especially given the reasonable pricing on their equipment. This switch has clear, responsive and fast GUI for configuration, is relatively quiet*; has six sfp ports instead of the typical four; is relatively compact (or not as deep) as other POE switches of this size. *Regarding noise: at idle, this switch is whisper quiet. However, it ramps up frequently and become noticably loud, likely because of POE and/or heavy switching demand. If you require more silence, I recommend the non-poe Grandstream GWN7806 and one of the PoE Texas - PoE Injectors, which do not have fans and used sealed power supplies. The only caveat is that, although Grandstream is based in the U.S., the switch is manufactured in China and, thus, may not be TPP compliant.

Been a Great main switch and easy to setup. There no noise, which has been great. Full of smb and corp level features like vlans , rack mount and full Poe.

I saw a review of this switch on YouTube, and did a bit of research on pricing. I was shocked to find it on Amazon for far less than it really should have been. A price seemingly never since repeated, I genuinely don't know how I got it so cheap. Anyway, I'm using this in an advanced home environment, replacing a couple of D-Link 1520-28MP switches which have performed great. I'm only really swapping due to the bargain price and also to reduce power consumption. The Grandstream has performed brilliantly. It has a solid web interface (massively better than the D-Link), and I've also installed the local management software and linked it to that. I've been able to set up all my VLANs, and also use it as the default gateway for my network. It has something like 20 VLAN interfaces on it and performs well with inta-VLAN routing. I have a lot of VLANs for AV over IP HDMI matrix switching and it works great. Full CLI also available which as allowed me to script VLAN changes for the HDMI matrix stuff. I'm now adding some 8 port switches with 10G uplinks to compliment this switch.
