Thick adhesive backing that can fill undulations, and a strong metallized front surface.
I used this for sealing a duct for a ceiling-mounted fan. It works as advertised. and is ideal even if the surface is not perfectly smooth -- you can press the tape into the surface to fill undulations, small depressions and curves.The seal appears to be airtight, for now.

Poor adhesive
I have purchased this 3 times and total 5 units. Last two bundles are of very poor quality. The adhesive is stuck to the covering tape rather than base aluminium tape. So it is not properly getting joined with the base. Earlier bundle were of good quality

value for money, good product
I ordered this product in the summer and applied it to the joint of the wall and metal rooftop where the water dripping issue occurs in every rainy season but after applying this product that problem was resolved. it is a recommended product.
