Well written packed full of information

I just started out with this hobby. This book is easy to follow and understand, and it has helped me every step from fermentation to tasting my final product. I would definitely recommend this book to someone else wanting to make their own spirits.

If you are looking to take up distilling as a hobby, then this is a great book to get started. It is a 3 book collection where each book looks at a slightly different topic. Book 1 looks at distilling in pretty generalized terms. This includes what equipment you will need, what permits/taxes need to be considered, what materials you will need, special skills, etc. Then the author goes through the different spirits (rum, vodka, tequila, gin, etc) and looks at each in their own section of the book in more detail. Book 2 focuses on whisky. Book 3 looks closely at moonshine. Each book has great information, a lot of detailed explanations and directions, and it is well written. Be sure to get your special gift at the end of the book.

If I could give it negative stars I would. Yes its a good read about the history. And that's about it. No distilling instructions or how to. So yes negative 5 stars

A clear guide for distilling beginner

Everything was good in book. I just wish there were more pictures or diagrams of equipment options.

I would recommend buy this.
