Coopers of Stortford - Cotton Sofa Saver Support Panel with Wooden Slats 2-Seater

Does a very good job of making my sofa more comfy. The springs were a bit weak so thought this would help. It is well made with cotton cover. I bought the three seater one as the two seater was slightly too small. So I could double up on one end. It has made a difference. So pleased. I chose Coopers as the item seemed better sizing.

But it is robust enough to make our overly squishy seated sofa usable again. Very pleased.

I don’t normally leave reviews but this item is a proper bit of kit. Well made and very heavy this will not bend like the black plastic ones. The pieces are stitched together with white cotton. Don’t procrastinate - buy it!

I have a large 2 seater sofa so the fit was slightly smaller than my sofa but they still worked and did the job. I could tell the difference with these and they made my sofa quite a bit firmer. I was happy with my purchase.

Works on beds too

We bought a different brand of this sort of thing years ago and they snapped within days. I think they may have been MDF, these ones, I am pretty sure are solid wood, probably plywood. We’ve had both the 2 & the 3 seater for a month or so now. No snaps. The 3 seater one was too long for our 3 seater settee (they can’t possibly make them to the exact size of ever settee on the market) and we simply folded one plank over. This meant that it fits ‘ok’ and it still does the job that it’s meant to do. They have made our sofas comfy again. Much more comfortable than the solid plywood that we have had in for years. I think that the best thing I could say about these sofa supports is that, if in time, they do break for some reason, I would still buy these ones again to replace the broken one.
