Sturdy, comfortable and attractive boot...
Comfortable, good tread and good support. Actually waterproof! I took these backpacking to Torres del Paine in Patagonia and remember walking in a narrow path that was a stream with runoff (because it was spring and melting) and thinking- "well, we'll soon know for sure if these are waterproof." Pleased to say they are. I have been happy with them.

Love my Sportivas!
I have a small, wide foot. These were a women's size 5 1/2 wide, and they are comfortable from the moment I put them on. They are easy to lace, breathe well, and being Gore-Tex, they are waterproof. They also provide decent arch support for my high arches. Having a small foot can really make shopping for shoes a pain, and these hiking boots really fit the bill!

Looking for a boot that doesn't hurt your toes?
Have a beautiful pair of very popular, expensive boots but after 4 or 5 miles my toes hurt. To the point of losing a toe nail on the AT while hiking! I tried tying the laces differently, doubling socks, taking away a sock layer-nothing helped. I didn't know there was such a thing as a boot that kept my heel where it was supposed to be so that it didn't slip forward and jam my toe with every step. Yep-this is the perfect boot! Not only does it keep my foot where it's supposed to be, but its super light and not too clunky! I'm feeling the need to buy another pair already, just to make sure I can find it again!

Needs a different insole
I love LaSportiva boots for the wide toe box, the durability, the light weight, and I like these colors. That being said, this boot was less comfortable than others I have, and needed a better, thicker insole than I usually have to use. More stiff and hard than others from this brand. Still love them, but needing an additional, more expensive insole did mean I ended up further past my budget than I had hoped.

Best hiking boots !
Worth the investment! I did add inserts to mine but I needed extra arch support but love these boots! They keep my feet dry on low river crossings and wet trails, good grip on uneven terrain and the laces stay tied! Never had sore feet with these boots compared to others I’ve had! Highly recommend.

Perfect fit. Very comfortable on longer hikes
We hiked 10000 feet up and down in one day. Very good traction on gravel mud and snow. Very well insulated and waterproof. Supper support, especially going back down. Fit is perfect and look very stylish.

Nice lightweight hiking boot
Love this little boot! My old hiking shoes were heavy and killed my ankles; these support the ankles without digging into them. They are also nice and lightweight, which I love. I can't speak to the waterproof ability, as I live in the desert and rain doesn't really happen here very much!
