I’ve made the transition out of chemical deoderants and into natural/organic deoderants about 2 years ago. In that time, I struggled with trying to find a deoderant that can actually work with sweating and stink! Since I’m used to wearing natural/organic, my sweating has definitely decreased, however I still struggled with trying to find a deodorant and antiperspirant to help with a stink all day long. I’ve spent hundreds of dollars and countless trials to find one that will last all day. THIS ONE WORKS!! I can apply straight from the container without needing to blend with my fingers which I LOVE (most strong natural/organic deodorants require applying with fingers), the product applies smoothly and thin (you don’t need that much, but I do a couple swipes to be on the safe side), there is a light scent which is pleasant and minty smelling (from the eucalyptus), and best part of all, I can go the WHOLE DAY with only ONE application! Seriously, it’s a game changer! A couple suggestions: 1. Make sure to hold the deodorant under your arm pit for a couple seconds to soften the stick, then slowly apply under your armpits. If you try too fast, you may cause irritation to your skin and you don’t want to deal with a rash. 2. If you’re transitioning from chemical to natural/organic deodorants, your pits are going to need a detox period to unclog your pores and cleanse the chemicals out of your system. Trust me it’s a rough process, but once it’s done, it will be worth it! You’re going to notice a major difference in sweat, smell, and most importantly, your health! Definitely do some research for detox periods. After that, you shouldn’t have a reaction to any natural/organic deodorants! I hope this review is helpful for you! First off, kudos on the presentation, helps set the stage for an earthy, nature centric product. Great scent, pleasant and aromatic without being overdone. Read the product insert first so tried a light, even application (waited until the next day after receiving to use - it’s cold outdoors and wanted to make sure it had warmed to room temp to give it a chance to show its “glide ability”). Went on smoothly without a lot of drag, no traces of white residue. (A tip: Hold the product against your skin for a few seconds to warm a little - glides easier!) Smelled pleasant on my skin. Applied it immediately after shaving (I know you cautioned not to in order to be on the safe side, but I have never had issues in this regard with prior products I’ve used) with no burning or stinging problems. I ordered your product due to the fact that the previous natural non-aluminum deodorant I have been using has been a decided fail in controlling odor. After wearing it today I am pleased with its performance in this regard. I am saying this with some reservation since this was my day off from my work and it hasn’t yet had to support me through a stressful business day. I have high hopes that my search has ended! I would also like to mention that it gives me great pleasure to support what appears to be a family business rather than a corporate conglomerate. The personal touch of the tips/hints intro sheet with the family pic was a surprise and delight; gives the impression that you have a vested interest in making certain your product excels and that you care deeply how your product performs for your clientele. Update - Works great for me even on super-hectic days! LOVE this product and will definitely order again!

Based upon my own experiences in using this deodorant, I have found it to be surprisingly effective, even though it is unscented non-antiperspirant variety. This stuff has been great at neutralizing body odor. THE PITFALLS OF OTHER DEODORANTS I'VE USED: I am sure all of us have really felt ashamed at times where you think that others may get the idea you don’t take personal hygiene seriously. I have used other unscented organic ones that rears its ugly head despite me washing....and even those scented ones without the desired long lasting result to accomplish the objective of masking body odor. WHY DOES MY SWEAT STINK, OR IS IT THE SWEAT THAT STINKS? I once learned that sweat on its own does not stink, but actually the skins fermenting bacteria is the source of body odor. The underarms have been compared to tropical rainforests amid the the skin's typically dry topography, which makes it an ideal home for a huge variety of bacteria. We blame sweat for our odor, but what you smell after you work out or when you're stressed is the odor of bacteria metabolizing the sweat, not the sweat itself. HOW WELL HAS THIS STUFF WORKED FOR ME. To my own relief, this unscented one works so well, that it's tendency toward any unpleasant odor is simply not there - even when I wear clothing / fabric that doesn't breath so well. After one swipe in the morning, it works all day, into the night and well into the next morning. I have alas experienced a deodorant, whereas my own sweaty underarms do not stink and the smelly skin bacteria will not thrive because of it. Simply put, this stuff has been great at neutralizing the body odor caused by bacteria. ANTIPERSPIRANTS AS A SIDE NOTE: I do not believe in antiperspirants for many health reasons...for example, amongst one of other reasons....our underarms secrete sweat to cool our bodies and to release toxins. However when using antiperspirants, you could be keeping your underarms stocked with a steady flow of potentially hazardous chemicals 24/7—even if you shower daily. Stockpiling toxins or temporarily changing the natural function of your skin, in suppressing the flow of sweat, is not an answer in my own opinion for healthy living. However, neutralizing the body odor caused by bacteria with a deodorant and not an Antiperspirent is a sustainable way of living amongst others who don't have to smell you coming and going.

Was not a fan of the scent but after applying it the scent kinda faded and smelled like my body wash. I will say applying this was like trying to smear a deodorant shaped bar of sticky thick frosting. It was a gross process. I thought I was good for the day. But a few hours later my pits began to sweat which was out of the ordinary but I was wearing a sweater so I blamed that and I know it's because it's natural deodorant and I have to give it time. But it gave me such a body odor that I don't even get when I go weekends without deodorant. My pits smelled like I hadn't showered in 4 weeks. So after 3 days I stopped using it. Applied my unnatural deodorant for a day as I waited for my thai salt deodorant to arrive (I have been using the salt deodorant for the 2 days and haven't sweat or smelled once despite wearing thick sweaters and coats). The reason I'm reviewing is because I have a rash on my body in a few spots and upper chest pain. It started the day I stopped using the deodorant Monday. I started the new deodorant on Wednesday. I kept trying think what had changed and what would cause this rash. It's not on my armpits, its just below my pits near the side of my boob. It hurts to the touch and I have a bump on my chest right in line with the under pit rash and on my back directly near the pit rash. I began to wonder if I was having an allergic reaction but for two days I've brushed that idea aside checking for bedbugs and wondering if something else was wrong despite all my symptoms pointing to allergic reaction. I usually wait 7 days before I seek medical attention so I decided to wait but this morning I decided to check the reviews on this deodorant to see if anyone had a similar reaction. Low and behold and I am just now discovering all of these "rash" reviews. I'm guessing because I didn't use this as long as everyone else that I didn't get the discoloration or severe underarm burn but I have a reaction nontheless. I'll update this if anything else changes.

I've been using this deodorant for about a month and a half now and I really really like it. I switched a natural deodorant last fall (a different brand) because no regular deodorant seemed to stopped my sweating--or my BO. And I tried MANY regular deodorants. I worked my way through the detox (at the time, I had no idea that's what it was until I started reading reviews for Natural where they tell you that will happen) but I still felt smelly. Which led me to a new search where I found Natural. I was bummed at first because the scent is lavender and eucalyptus and any scent, but especially lavender gives me strong headaches. I was thrilled to discover that they had an unscented option--which is truly unscented. It works great! I really barely sweat, and for the most part, by the end of the day, I usually don't smell. It's not perfect but it's by far the best deodorant I have ever used and will definitely continue. I like that it's a small family company. I like their customer service and that they send you information about switching to natural deodorants with you package. And I don't mind the price because you use a lot less of this than a regular deodorant so it lasts a lot longer. One complaint/recommendation I have: when they emailed offering a travel size, which I really wanted, I wish they had said that it would be scented. I have it, and I can't use it. One whiff of it gave me a headache (it's not overpowering at all, it's truly lightly scented; I'm just ultra sensitive). I wish they had the travel option in unscented or at least informed customers about the scent when offering the travel option. Other than that, this a solid deodorant that works very well and I will buy again.

After literal YEARS of looking for a great, natural deodorant, I HAVE FOUND IT. The creator of the product, Sean, reached out to me a few months ago and asked me to leave a review. I told him that normally wait a few months before reviewing a natural deodorant product because I've had reactions to products that changed how I felt about them a couple weeks or months down the road. I have tried Tom's, Primal Pit Paste, Schmidt's sensitive skin, Schmidt's regular scents, both the rub on and stick versions. EVERY single one of the above either haven't worked to a satisfactory degree or has made my skin red and irritable or even BLACK and slough off!! It was so embarrassing to not be able to wear sleeveless shirts because my underarms were black, dead skin. And trust me, I was exfoliating regularly and putting on minimal product at that time. I am pleased to say that since having the product since the beginning of November and using it every single day, this is HANDS DOWN the best natural deodorant I've come across. It is a mild, lovely scent that I only need to apply once a day on days I don't work out or shower. You don't even need to use that much. I've never had a reaction to this product and 2 months in my underarms are pleasantly moisturized and aren't discolored or irritated. When I work out, I don't feel that my pits are crazy stinky or have produced excess amounts of sweat that I felt with other products. I haven't checked how much of the stick I have left but I'm pleased it's lasted longer than 2 months unlike some of the other products out there. It's WELL worth the money knowing I am not introducing any harmful chemicals to my body with a product that actually works. I love it.

It does a good job as far as odor control and doesnt have aluminum; however it doesnt roll on smoothly as I'd like.

I rarely review products, and I pretty much shop exclusively on Amazon. So it says something when I take the trouble to do it. Specifically I am hoping to address people who had bad reactions to Underarmed or those afraid to try it. Underarmed is not filled with harsh chemicals or fragrances and theoretically should be fine on everyone. It only makes sense when you understand two things: every human body comes with a built in “acid mantle”. An acidic layer that protects the skin from bacteria. Generally we range in pH from 4-6.5 (more to less acidic). The third ingredient in this product is sodium bicarbonate, a fancy way of saying “baking soda”. And every kid knows what happens when you mix an acid (like vinegar) with baking soda: a chemical reaction. I conjecture that the reason the minority of people cannot tolerate this product is because their skin is more acidic. I don’t know how you can change the pH of your skin, if you could, and if you’d want to. I just wanted to share this in the event that anyone who had a reaction thinks this is a bad company or they lie about their product etc. Thesw seem like good folks with great customer service! All I know is that Underarmed works for me! After years of smooshing a gel based aluminum deodorant into my pores, I realized that this seemed like a bad idea. I’ve tried alternatives and I don’t like how they glided, and they left me smelly. Sweat doesn’t smell, bacteria does. And all that aluminum clogging my pores provided a good place for germs to grow. So after an Underarm detox (google that) and a couple weekend days of no deodorant at all, I gave this product a shot. I LOVE the way it smells, it goes on well, and I smell fresh as a daisy all day. I am a healthcare worker and I run all over a hospital. And it works even on my busiest day. It does not keep me totally dry, but sweating is natural. Stinky sweat isn’t. That’s stinky bacteria. I am confident that the steps I took lus the antibacterial properties of Underarmed is keeping my skin healthy. Additionally, my underarms are smoother than they’ve ever been. One swipe is all you need! Lay it against your skin, let it melt a second, then swipe down. That’s it. People who say it’s sticky... idk man. Putting too much on? Were you wet or start with? I don’t think it’s sticky at all. And my clothes are not stained by the coconut oil. Follow directions, give it a shot, and if it doesn’t work for you reach out to Sean and he will make it right!
