I keep this in the car and it’s been a game changer. I used to use the collapsible water bowls, but they were flimsy and water splashed everywhere. You can’t fill it too high otherwise it overflows on sharp turns but overall very satisfied with it for preventing spills.

This is a great bowl! I got one for my birthday last year and lost it while traveling and had to get a replacement. It is absolutely perfect for road trips we take. I just leave water in the bowl and put the bowl on the floor of the backseat and doesn't spill. The best part is, I have a boxer who drools EVERYWHERE and this bowl makes it so he doesn't drool at all.

The only negative I have about this is it smells REALLY strongly of rubber when you first get it. Do not plan to use it immediately, instead plan to fill with water and keep outside (not in direct UV) for a few days, changing the water, to clean out the smell. I even cleaned with dish soap upon arrival, but as the rubber seems to be off-gassing, you just need to wait it out. It took mine about a week or so until it seemed to not stink horribly. I've now used this in both the backseat of my SUV, and witht the backseat removed so it was sitting flat. While it is designed to sit on a slight angle (nesting into the angle of a seat), it works just fine sitting perfectly flat. I keep the 'high side' towards the front as I tend to have to brake faster with doggo in car than I ever have to accelerate (braking due to other drivers, I can control how fast I speed up) and following other reivews, only keep this about half full. The only spill so far was doggo pushing it with her rear when sitting down near it, which is totally on doggo not on the bowl. The bowl did its job, and deformed so not to harm the dog, and spilled some water. No water spills from normal driving around, which is great. I liked that I didn't have to get something that bolts or clips into anything, as my doggo just gets harnessed into a child seat restraint anchor via seatbelt tether, not a crate where I would clip a water bowl into. My dog still prefers to drink when we aren't moving, but will drink from this to get a sip when she is feeling thirsty even underway. We phased in using this at our normal water breaks, replacing a normal water bowl for use outside the car, so when it appeared in the car drinking from it wasn't unusual. The wider and overhanging bowl rim was offputting for the doggo for the first couple uses, but then completely disregarded and drunk from like any other water bowl. It does not have an internal tank or anything fancy with springs, this is just a bowl with a wide inward curling rim to prevent the majority of spills. The rubber holds its shape on its own, but can be bend and twisted easily for cleaning. You'll need to plan to shake water out, and towel dry it if you plan to store, as the inward facing rim also makes getting this dry via dishrack alone difficult.

Highly recommended if you have a cat that compulsively splashes all of the water out of every water bowl. We have been searching for solutions for literally seven years and have never found one. We tried everything including expensive water fountains, putting water bowls at the bottom of a big plastic bin, weighted bowls, etc. We eventually just placed their water bowl in our kitchen sink and would refill it every time we were at the sink. Had to find a solution when we got a rescue dog (he can't get to the bowl in the kitchen sink) and the cats splashed all of his water out. This is working perfectly. One of our cats still tries to splash all of the water out, but it doesn't work because of the lip. The dog loves it.

Wow, these are great for a road trip. I moved across the country, and on the 30+ hour drive the only time it spilled was when I fully dropped it on the floor 😂

Absolutely love the Kurgo Splash Free Wander Water Bowl—it’s a total game-changer for beach days with my pup! The no-spill design is genius, especially when we’re on the go or parked near the shore. Three stars for it being a nice little silicone bowl that won’t slide around if that is what you need it for…but it is not “splash proof”. Maybe it is for some dogs but for our larger dogs it is just as messy as a regular water bowl. Did not serve it’s purpose for us. Picture doesn’t show the puddle of water next to it because of the rug but trust me, it’s there.

I bought this just before a road trip with my dog to try to see if she would drink water while in her kennel on the road - while she still isn’t a fan of long road trips, she definitely made good use of this bowl. The material is nice and thick, holds its shape even when full of water, and it’s big enough to let her drink as much as she wants. I notice it definitely does not spill as much as other bowls I’ve attempted to place in her kennel for the road. I used this as her travel water dish as well, using it outside of the car, and she had no issues with hydration on the trip.

I am becoming a big fan if this company. This bowl is magnificent. It keeps water inside while travelling. Because of the non slip bottom, I just keep the water in the bowl in the car and it doesn’t spill. Saves me from having to pour water back into the bottle when the dogs are done drinking. My dogs are huge and this works very well. I ordered a second one.

Definitely splash free. Bought as a bowl for our dog when travelling in our motorhome home. No spills yet. Good quality and sturdy. A thickish rubber with a lip to stop the spills.

De waterkom gebruik ik om in de honden fietskar te zetten. Er moet wel heel wat gebeuren wil het water er uit klotsen. De kom blijft goed op zijn plek staan. Geeft geen onaangename geur of smaak aan het water.

Stable et très pratique en voiture … tant qu’on ne le renverse pas 🤣🤣🤣🤣
