I have two sets of crimp tools already. However the anvils for this type of connectors never worked very well. The anvil's are poor quality or the design is in correct. They either crush the connector pins or are to loose and the cable pulls out. So I looked around for some better quality ones and found this set. At first I was sceptical as the price was not that high, and I thought they would be like my other sets. Until I found out a friend of mine was using these exact same ones. I asked if they were any good, and he gave them to me to try for a while. The first crimp I did failed, so I adjusted the tension one click and woohoo, Perfect every time. Nicely formed crimp with the right tension, grips outer wire sheaf nicely without cutting through to the inner core and no distortion. Just make sure you use the correct size for your connectors as marked on the anvil and test first to check if the tension is correct and you should get a perfect crimp every time.Note do not strip to much wire insulation off as you only need enough bare wire to fit in the second crimping section, too much wire sticking through means you have too try a trim the excess. Very fiddley if you do this. So this is the best pair I've bought for this connector type, and believe me one of my other sets was not cheap! And to be fair it's other anvils work fine. I build a lot of motorcycle wiring harnesses, which use this connector type, either bullet or spade types, and I get a perfect crimp every time with this tool. So you should be able too as well. A word of caution avoid cheap connectors. They tend to be too soft and distort to easily. I test some out of interest and out of ten tests only three worked. I did the same ten test on both spade and bullet connectors and all three common sizes and got same results. Only 30-40% success. So I recommend sticking with at least reasonable quality connectors. You will get a lot less frustration. Hope this helps someone.

Excellent set for almost any auto related wiring issue which is why I bought it. Crimp is excellent as is the range of connectors. The stripper is a nice extra but not of the same quality as the crimp tool but I did not buy this set for that, I bought it for the crimp tool and I am not disappointed. If you need to do any auto wiring one of these will set you up to do good work. I would also suggest some heat shrink wrapping for completed joints to make a pro job of what you do.

Not a great set with limited assortment of insanely thin connectors

This tool just works and it works very well what i mean is perfect crimps that always fits perfectly.I also have the one which does molex,dupont,jst etc and it is also perfect as the crimps are solid and fits very well in their housings,This is the main reason i bought this one as the other peba one is amazing.

Can’t complain at all with this set. Works as expected and gives good secure crimp.
