Really Neat. The instructions are very clear and the quality is surprisingly sturdy. Not really for kids due to the small pieces and having to be carefully assembled but it was a great stress reliever as a mom. I would gift this to anyone who likes to tinker or needs a break from Legos. Plus, once assembled it makes a unique decor piece. NOTE: You need a Type-C power cable to power the electronics.

I finally got around to building this thing..I'd been putting off for months. Based on what I'd seen online, I knew it would be a few hours, so I waited for a day with some free time. The instructions were pretty clear, and the whole thing came together without too much trouble. The only hiccups were a couple of loose-fitting parts that needed some superglue. The first was a small piece that held a gear in place..it just wouldn't stay snug..which kept the gear from properly engaging the one above it. A dab of glue on the opposite side held it in position perfectly. I also had to glue the center logo of the Ferris wheel, which kept falling out. After those minor fixes everything else fit together well and I didn't have any issues with broken pieces. Once i finished.. it feels real sturdy and it works exactly as it should and I'm really happy with how it turned out. I love the old timey feel of it. While I think the price could be a little lower, it was a really fun build. I'd definitely recommend it as a gift for teens or anyone who enjoys building things.

Issues: My kit was missing 1 cloud from the bag and the front plastic was damaged. The entire front of the TV was slightly curved, so it doesn't fit tightly. Overall, it's a fun build and I had no issues with the mechanics. It probably took me about 4 hours to build. It's great for anyone looking to make a gift, since it's quick and adorable for musicbox lovers!

There are a lot of pieces and it may seem overwhelming, but the instructions were very clear and so it made this easy to install. Compared to other builds, there's actually not that many pieces in this one. I finished it in 2 hrs. I love that this is rechargeable so we don't have to worry about changing out batteries. Also, don't be shy with the wax. Use it, use it! My set-up functions perfectly and all of the pieces rotate smoothly.

Disclaimer: Please take my review with a grain of salt, as a few of my mishaps throughout the process of building this kit may be from human error. I love building Robotime/Rolife/Rokr kits, having done so since January 2024. This was my first ever kit that included LED lighting and a circuit board to power it vs. a manual key, which intrigued me enough to buy it. Pros: I loved the straightforwardness and labeling of the circuit board that came with the kit, especially as it was my first time using one in a kit vs the classic music box and key. The music having that muffled retro effect to it was a nice touch. The painted details were very adorable and make it look like a Christmas decoration you can have up all year! The lighting added life to it, and is place in just the right spots to show off details. Cons: Upon reviewing the boards and parts as I began, I noticed a lack of spare parts, even for the smaller pieces. The previous kits I have put together always came with them and gave me peace of mind, so my concern was valid. However, I pursued forward with my building project while trying to take extra care to not lose any pieces into my carpet. And then, as luck would have it, I lost a key part when assembling the ferris wheel, specifically the part to hold one of the 'cars'. I have looked everywhere in the range of where it could have dropped, but my efforts were in vain. Desperately, I tried to fashion a similar part with a piece of the board it came off of, to no avail. I had to resolve to having two cars missing from the wheel in a uniform and convincing way. Putting the sun wheel up was also a pain. No matter what I tried, sanded, or waxed, the wheel would not move after I attached the back part of the television model; the rubber ring belt would not budge for it, most likely due to poor connection to the back of the tv and the support. Speaking of, the back panel would not stay flush with the rest of it; the bottom insists on warping out, and it would not connect with the notches around the floor area, no matter how much pressure I put on it. I would loved to give this kit more stars, from one of my favorite companies no less. The overall aesthetic and design is adorable, despite a few mechanical errors and lack of spare parts. I hope this review ensures a better assembling experience for future customers!

product instructions state that it was supposed to come with wax in the box. have searched the box multiple times and cannot find any wax whatsoever. am just going to have to ignore that step and hope that the motor still works later

Good product, quite sturdy ( as sturdy as it could be with all the mechanics involved) But of course to be kept as in collectible display item and not to be kept in places where it can easily fall.

Was a gift for my spouse that turned out better than I thought. The pieces are really thick and sturdy, and went together well. Normally we wouldn't keep a puzzle long, but this one is so cute we're keeping it on display.
