-Amazon price was half of what others charged.-Tricky at times to assemble— YouTube videos are more helpful than instructions. Watch video first.-You’ll need a large flat surface to work.-Canopy brackets are sturdy and the bracket-to-house connection isn’t what will fail. The connections between canopy and main bracket and canopy and support arms are the fail points—a few very small screws. I know because this is where our last one failed in a storm. You can override this flaw by adding a few more screws to these connections. I also recommend sealing these connections with clear silicone caulking. The canopy is aluminum and won’t rust but the screws will rust without protection. I sealed all screws and where the support arms meet the bracket cups.—One person can do the installation alone since it’s so lightweight but a second person is helpful when putting canopy onto main bracket that is first installed on house.—Diverts rain very well.—Looks good.—Pay attention to the directions in how much top clearance you need.

I will admit these awnings were a bit difficult to get to line up in the curved part of the railing. That is my only complaint. Mounting was easy. The best part and the reason for the review is that these awnings survived hurricane Helene. I am located in an area that was in the storm's path. There were trees down and buildings with structural damage all around. I am happy to say that my two awnings made it through the storm with no issues at all. Very durable product.

Great awning at a great price from Amazon. My young handyman assembled and installed it from start to finish in 40 minutes. I like that we could adjust the awning to a steeper pitch to catch large snow avalanches off the steep metal roof on my 1906 house and direct them away from a corner where the snow piles up. Additionally, this awning shades my swamp cooler during our warm summers here in the high desert. It seems to be reasonably sturdy, so far.

Remembered this look from when I was a kid decades ago. Hesitated to order because seemed rather old fashioned. But had a south window with no overhang and room was unbearable with sun. Rain hit window so it was always dirty. This solved all problems. Room is cooler, softer light, and is protected from rain. Luckily window is very high off ground. The side bars would be an obstacle on standard ground floor window if forced to walk nest to it, like on side of house. Other than that, I wish I had ordered it YEARS ago. Also stops fading of upholstery near window.

Looks nice and shields from the sun and rain. Waiting for winter to see how it holds up during the snow. The instructions could have been a little bit clearer but after searching on YouTube, it became very easy.

This is a crappy item. I would not sell this junk to anyone. In fact, I would not give it to anyone! If you're interested, the first one sent to me the package was all but totally destroyed and the awning itself was damaged to the point where I would not accept it from the USPS (another sorry organization). The replacement came in a matter of a couple of days. Not only was the package destroyed, the mounting brackets were missing along with other pieces. I promptly sent it back. Now, after more than 3 weeks I have not been able to get my money back. I'll never buy another thing with the name nulmage !

product is good. It could be better with bigger screws or even better use stainless steel bolts and nuts (I did). Also the company could updatethe directions and the pictures that look like there from the 60’s ???? overall I’m happy with the purchase, it looks good and the rain gutter work well.
