I was worried a little in the beginning that I wasn't going to like it but man was I wrong. It was a great story I loved the charterers. I loved the spice!!!! Definitely well read again.

What happens when you have your reading set for the week, but you see some quotes from a book that just keeps getting your attention? Well, since you're a mood reader, you pick that book up and fall in love with some steamy goodness!Double Pucked actually caught my attention on bookstagram and I'm so happy I picked it up. A woman is cheated on by her boyfriend (and the way she finds out is hilarious) ends up getting her payback. She goes to HIS hockey experience and ends up with more than she bargained for. Two roommates that will literally do anything for her.What was initially an act of revenge turns into Trina meeting 2 hockey players on opposing teams that happen to be best friends. Chase and Ryker take her out for the VIP experience her ex won, but after hearing how she came upon these tickets, they want to make her experience even better. And how can Trina say no to the happy and charismatic Chase and the grumpy but sexy Ryker. But once she gets to know these two, she wants more, but only for a night. Will they want the same?My goodness this was a fun and steamy MFM romance with some great characters! I liked the dynamics of the relationships these 3 characters had and how they navigated through everything together. I definitely felt their friendship they built together and the trust they had, even if it was sort of insta, they had great communication. One moment I would be laughing and the next I could feel the heart of the story. But then I was whipped right back into the steam and needing to fan myself.Trina, Chase and Ryker balance each other well in this "why choose" hockey romance that should be put on your tbr for some entertaining reading that will heat you up! I'm excited to see that this is the first book in a whole new series from Lauren Blakely. I will be back for the next one!

It's good, not great, but better than okay. With a few good word puns and an extensive use of vocabulary that isn't always the best for late night reading, Blakely has delivered a solid romance throple novel. Chase, Ryker, and Trina have a very detailed beginning, a brief rough patch, followed by HEA. The beginning of this book was so well thought out and detailed, that once the true conflict came into play, it was like a mad rush for the ending, and lost lots of the little details and nuance that the rest of the novel had had, making you wish it had been drawn out just a little more before the HEA.

So, when I came across a book that combined that with a bit of spicy MFM fun, I knew I had to read it. It turned out to be a pure delight! I loved the entire story. There is nothing better than a bit of revenge on a cheating ex! In this one, the female lead, Trina, was a bookstore manager who loved reading dirty romance novels. And she had an adorable three-legged dog named Nacho who had a fetish for eating panties. That alone piqued my interest. But, what really hooked me were the two super-hot and dirty-talking hockey players, Chase and Ryker, who were good at sharing and knew how to please a woman between the sheets. I enjoyed their dynamic and how they brought different things to the relationship. I couldn't choose between them as they were both perfect for Trina. And did I mention they were hot?!? This book had all the kinks, and I was so down for it. I never knew how much I enjoyed a hockey sandwich! This was definitely a fun book! I even listened to some of it as an audiobook, and the male narrators, J.F. Harding and Robert Hatchet did a fantastic job. Samantha Brentmoor, who played Trina, was perfectly cast as well. If you're into spicy audiobooks, I highly recommend this one.

3.5 ⭐️I knew I needed to go back to my why-choose-romance era and this book (and hopefully, the series) is a great example of why.Funny and sweet, both male characters compliment Trina very well. Add spice (I did think it would be a bit more spicy though), a great support system (family and friends), the sports romance element and a gorgeous grump, a handsome golden retriever kinda guy and the luckiest gal in the San Francisco area and you’ll have a great book to cuddle with on the weekend 💓

There is waaay more plot than spice but those scenes are so well done that it doesn't need to be chalked full. The story was well executed. It was hilarious and addressed some realistic issues for an MFM relationship that's constantly in the public eye. An adorable, fun read with lil doggie that makes me wanna come back.

A good story, good guys, good spice! But golden retriver is not my thing. Now i tried. And failed, it`s too cute.

I wasn't sure what to expect, but it was a hockey romance and I figured that was enough of a reason. Trina, Ryker, and Chase are an enjoyable trio that actually worked really well. I wasn't 100% sure how the HEA would pan out, but it worked. It's definitely got humor and steaminess and lots of hockey players. Will definitely be reading more of the series.

This book doesn't beat around the bush, there is no slow burn. Once Trina meets the boys it's full steam ahead and no lack of spice.I appreciate when books recognize that polyamory isn't an easy path to take when it comes to romance, and that it isn't widely accepted, and I think Double Pucked treated this part well.Overall I just loved the whole story, and like the description says, if you're a fan of Lily Gold you'll absolutely enjoy this one!

I really appreciated how realistic the build up to a polyhandrous relationship was. As well as the spice. Gradually getting there 😌

Thoroughly recommend this author. All her series have strong characters & detailed plots. Genuinely cant put them down until I finish all the available books.

An unconventional love story with two hockey players hooking up with a guest and extending the relation into more. It soon gets serious for all the three of them. While socially still much more controversial than it is discussed here, some of the imminent difficulties are indeed discussed. Liked it!
