My husband was able to easily put these on our stairs and they have lasted about a year so far. I feel like they give me more traction as I am carrying my laundry baskets up and down the stairs. I would definitely recommend!

Material is heavy duty and really thick. The rubber is consistently colored, and it’s black so it matches our stairs perfectly.It is really sticky, but definitely apply when it’s dry. It was dry here and then it started raining, and we were afraid it wasn’t going to stick, but it stuck perfectly and is still holding up even though it’s getting cold (we live in Alaska so it’s wet and cold). It’s easy to install but be careful about how sticky it is. The fit is okay though, as you can see it doesn’t span the whole step, but it’s fine as the edges have handrails and the middle doesn’t.It provides great additional traction on the lip of the stair. We are definitely going to need this come winter time.Another plus is that it hides damages on the lips of the stair where it can be easily worn out.

Works well to add some serious traction to the edge of stairs -These are a bit thicker and a little softer/more grippy than some and give good traction as well as softening the nose of the stair a little.Adhesive seems to grab well and the strip is easily trimmed with heavy scissors or a razor knifeMakes for a fast solution and relatively easy to apply.

4 out of 6 were missing the self adhesive, not sure how they messed it up. Had to order another 10 to finish the project, the second order arrived with all 10 having the adhesive, so it’s definitely quality control issue. Otherwise sticks well and looks good, gets the job done. If you decide to go with this one, hope you would be luckier than I was with the adhesives.

I wanted something to provide a better edge for the part of my deck that overhangs my pool. The wood edge was a bit too abrupt and I wanted something that would make a smoother edge at least temporarily while I figure out a better transition.Installing it was reasonably easy. The nosing sat out on the deck in the sun for about an hour before I got started, which seemed to help, as it became quite flexible when warm. The adhesive does a good job holding it in place, but I expect I will ultimately need to tack it in place with brads. It was at times difficult to remove the backing on some pieces, but not terrible.The final appearance was not quite what I had hoped for, but it should work well until I can get a better transition in place.

I have a step in my house that is made of faux wood and it appears its sole purpose is to cover the corner of a step, because there's no nosing like this. Problematically, it's slippery, I've fallen, my daughter has fallen, my husband has slipped, my son has slipped, it's beyond a hazard at this point. I've been looking for a solution for a few weeks when these showed up, at I decided to try it for my outside wood stairs, to help with how slippery they get outside.I didn't even think about these for inside until I saw the "indoor/outdoor" on the box when I was unpacking them. I immediately pulled the faux step up, cleaned up the surface underneath, then mounted this. This is working so much better, I do have a bit of a gap in the flooring (we're renovating in a few months anyway) but that's only affecting how things look, so long as everyone stops slipping and/or falling I don't care.I did yank up the fake grass on the stairs outside and ended up replacing the planks on the stairs, then installing these along with some lights. This looks so much better, and hopefully when we get snow this will help give more surface to grab on, even though I did put "grit" on the new steps. I still have enough to do the other steps that we don't really use, but they'll match at least.

These rubber stair nosing are exactly what I needed for my basement stairs. I have been removing the old carpeting from my basement stairs and needed something for safety, these rubber nosings are the best option as I am getting older and have to incorporate safety into my home updates. I will be putting these on as soon as I finish painting the stair well ad steps. they are durable and will last a very long time. They are longer than I need, so hopefully I have more to put elsewhere in the home. Great purchase, I highly recommend.
