A little smaller than expected, but otherwise great

I purchased the small/medium model (for some reason this review is going on the large model). I am a size 9 UK size and I found the small/medium size too tight. If you are looking at this model and this size, I would recommend going for the large size, even though the latter says it's from 9.5 upwards.I would also recommend that you get diagnosis from a doctor/podiatrist before purchasing this model.. I used the internet and noticed similarities in my condition that I thought would be helped by using this device. As a result, I endured a couple of weeks of very painful use before stopping all together and going to the doctor and finding out this device wasn't going to help.Before you all tick that "unhelpful" box, I'm not saying that this device doesn't work as clearly it would unfair to say so. I am just saying that if you're a size 9 and have consulted a specialist then I would go for the Large size as that will fit more comfortably. It was rather too tight for me anyway!.

I bought this split to try to reduce my plantar fasciitis. I can't wear it all night as the front strap has a seam inside it which makes it really uncomfortable on the front left hand side of my foot, so I put it on when I go to bed, then when I wake up with my foot hurting I take it off, then around 5am I wear it again until I get up. When I've managed to do this I find I can walk much easier first thing in the morning. The top velcro strap does slip down my leg a little so my foot doesn't stay quite as flexed as I would have liked. I think if I were a deeper sleeper then I would find it much easier to wear and it would be more effective.

Having suffered plantar fasciitis in my left foot for over a year, I was keen to find something that would help it heal. I had read that braces did not work, but a friend had tried one like this with some success. I have been using it for a month and the foot is much improved. I am hopeful that in time it will mend completely. The splint does not disturb my sleep like I thought it might, just keeps the foot gently flexed so it repairs in the right position. The only reason it loses a star is because the Velcro round the toe doesn't fix very well, but it doesn't stop it working.

I have had chronic bilateral plantar fasciitis for 4 years, needed to take a year off work, and mildly so for some years previously. I have tried to so many things and my top five are staying off my feet, custom made orthotics, night splints, MBT shoes and yoga toes. Some night splints are too complicated, some are too uncomfortable, others are painful. I started with a Futuro - still recommend them, like one I get from Amazon USA, but I wore this one for the first time today and it is the most comfortable by far, and I could feel it doing its work. Such a good feeling of relief. Am going to order one for the other foot.

I went for about 5 months undiagnosed with excruciating PF... once I was, it was recommended that I try sleeping with a foot brace. I tried this one as it looked like it gave some breathing room during the night - which it does. Loaded myself with ibuprofen and wore this - after my first night, I got out of bed, when my foot touched the floor.... no pain. I could have cried! Im a couple weeks in... I think you have to be consistent and take medication and massage too... but wearing this has been a game changer... and I can not recommend it enough!

This really helps sore heels caused by Plantar Fasciitis, although it must be worn religiously. Much better mornings after wearing it and surprisingly easy to get used to.

Bought this for my son. He suffered an accident a few years ago now ad his feet are sore on a night and in the mornings troubles to walk. It has helped him so much he says he has less pain in a morning it is just getting used to wearing them.
