Elite (Empire High Book 2)

This book is an absolute 5 stars from me. I have eagerly awaited this title since finishing the first in the series and it's a credit to the author that I read the entire book in a single sitting. I am completely enveloped in the story and Ivy finds a way to shock and surprise with the ending yet again. The character development of #thenewguy was very well done. I cannot recommend this book enough. Roll on book 3! Thank you once again Ivy Smoak.

I've just finished Empire High Elite in one sitting. I love the book and have become so invested in the characters that right now I could scream. I'm so cross with all of them for different reasons... Selfish, manipulative, abusive or just insane (here's looking at you Isabella) but I absolutely can not wait to see how this all plays out.I've read pretty much everything Ivy Smoak has written and have fallen hard for a lot of the characters and stories. Such a wonderful writer with a real knack for taking you on the journey with her. The Facebook group IvySmoaksters is a great place to chat and discuss stories and put up pics of the people who could play James, Penny, Rob, Mason, Tyler, Matt, Felix.Please release the next one as soon as possible Ivy, please xx

Another enjoyable read in this series, I devoured this book. The characters are still keeping me interested. I’m a little annoyed at Brooklyn, she can’t seem to keep to one guy and it’s messing with her own head as well as everyone else’s. I get that she just want ps to not feel alone but I think she is playing with fire and right into Isabella’s hands. The storyline again was good. Lots of teenage angst, emotion and a few laughs. A huge cliffhanger ending, so on to book 3.

Oh my god I've never read so much drama in one book. Brooklyn is kind of a mess and in a massive love triangle. I actually feel sorry for the boys she's led them all on. Felix is so nice and she doesn't see it be genuinely loves her . Matt never puts her first . Isabella is nasty but such a good character I cannot wait to read what happens nexf

I was absolutely thrilled to wake up to Empire High Elite on my kindle 3 days early!! Needless to say I devoured it within a day, and now I'm left feeling hollow inside knowing I have to wait until January for the 3rd and final installment!!In true Ivy Smoak style I have been left with more questions than answers, and some crazy theories of my own that I cant wait to find out if I'm even remotely close to the mark with when the trilogy finally wraps up in the next book.Once again I felt a rollercoaster of emotions whilst reading... I laughed, got insanely angry, and shed a few tears... but I absolutely LOVED every second of it!Roll on January!!

Sorry to say but I was disappointed , I've read several of Ivy's books since reading the first untouchables book and enjoyed them. lots of hype building up to release and then read fairly quickly as it's not very long and I don't think I'm any further forward in the story ....

What can I say about thus book....I could not putcit down, read this in a day.Continuing the Matt and Brooklyn relationship, keeps you on the edge of your seat.It's such an insight into Matt, James, Rob and Mason teenage years.Can't wait for Betrayal to see what happens to Matt.Thank you Ivy smoak you keep us enthralled and captivated till the end

Book 2 is hitting a little close to home and I can identify with how Matt feels about his aunt. We recently lost someone close to us and I’d like to say I saw it coming but I didn’t. Loveeeee the history, I am almost as confused as Brooklin, can’t wait for the next book, just hoping she will not end up with Mat. Like worst option ever. Actually I dont like how fragile and naive she is, but the book it self is great.

Love the way she writes; emotion , suspense, love, hate, romance, friendship, family, all tied together.I normally read series after the final book in done, because it's so hard to wait for the next book in the story, but I couldn't help myself with this author. This story will be worth the wait between books.I am sure this could lead to more in-depth branching stores of Felix, Kennedy, and MillerI've marked my calendar for January 14th 2020. I'll be one of the many to that will download it as soon as it's released.I'll be watching her newsletter for updates.

I love the story of Matt and the boys and their lives and struggles in high school. Once again ivy has grabbed our attention and taken us all on a wild and unpredictable ride. She has a way of drawing us in to the world of the hunters and Caldwell’s and keeping us there. You are always left wanting more. Cannot wait until next book is released. Go out and grab a copy of this. You won’t be disappointed.

Evil stepsister and stepmother. Mysterious birth father. Matt as a love interest! Seeing the authors other characters from her other series in high school and a little insight to what made them the way they are. A girl who has had the world against her when it comes to tragedies in her family.Such a brilliant read! Cliffhanger has killed me tho! Word of advice if you read this there is a group on Facebook called empire high elite *spoiler room* which has great theories and the author interacts with her fans! 10/10 group!!
